Right when you enter the cafe, you get instant good vibes. You don't wait very long to be seated, The food, the coffee, and the staff were really great. This cafe is definitely one of the best cafes in San Diego.

Great breakfast at this slightly hidden diner! They really know how to cook eggs exactly how each person orders them. Really clean, and not too busy or crammed. My only complaint was that my home fries could have been cooked crisper, but the toast and pancake options were delicious. House fresh salsa is awesome.

I do not suggest going there in a large group. Six families (with some of our soccer team) went there for Saturday lunch. Our server would not individualize our checks with each family as we requested. I was surprised because without our team, it seems like it wouldn't have been a booming business that wouldn't want to make it easy for groups to dine there. I had a rueben sandwich with very little meat. For our family, It's just a mediocre experience altogether. Not bad; but with so many choices, I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Came here on parent visit to California and it’s one of their spots for Sunday breakfast. I can see why they love it. Very “family” feel to the place with great coffee, service, yummy food and price. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere was great. I like that instead of a corporate style cup. I got a somewhat personalized cup in a way. I didn't like that. It took a bit to get served just because I was sitting in the back area. The lady who served us was really nice. One we got served. The food was okay. The bacon lacked the flavor of bacon. Maybe just how they cook it. The eggs were okay and needed a little more seasoning. The Waffles tasted just like flour, not in a bad way. It's just felt like they did not add cinnamon or anything that would make them enhanced. All in all, my experience was good, just the food lacked flavor. I love to try cafe and diner and unfortunately food taste was lacking. The workers were kind. The price was a little high, but with inflation, I get why. Just would hope for the price it would have more seasoning.
