Terrible customer service and the food was mediocre! You might as well cook top ramen and add an egg. Go to convoy and try their ramen and sushi. You'll definitely taste a huge difference.

We came here group of five. It's a small place. Parking at the back. Got lost first. As soon as you passby Popeyes make a right. They took quick . Food was great. Black garlic was comparable to ultra Ramen. The noodle was just regular though. Price is right. Awesome food.service was fast and good quantity/ size of serving.

The food was AMAZING loved the sweet pork fried rice, the tempura Brussel sprouts were perfect and delectable served in a sweet in sour sauce, the veggie yakisoba was refreshing and filling hitting all the right notes and the spicy mayo on sushi was a interesting addition, the service was amazing too, checking in on everything making sure nothing was missed and even came in taking trash away every 10 mins. The ambiance was simple yet amazing perfect for the food and the aroma was amazing! 10/10 would eat again

Food is good. Cashiers are very respectful. Perfect spot to get something quick for lunch or dinner.

Wow! I can't believe we have not been to this place and glad we came in today. This place is such a gem in Escondido. The food was great, better than I expected. My husband and I enjoyed the ramen, it was full of flavors and so delicious. My son had the bowl of teriyaki chicken and he said it was delicious too. The service was great, they were a bit busy but service was fast. The ambience was great, don't let the outside fool you. Overall, we enjoyed our food today and glad they're not far from us.

A quick find on Yelp and we were very impressed. A very cute small spot. We started with the garlic noodles a must try. Lemon roll and dragon. Fish was fresh and well presented.

Wish their chicken was fresh and not hard as a rock. Food was good but the hard chicken was a bummer since that’s the only meat we eat and ordered.

Re-review Update, ate in today with my kids. I order my usual which is Beef and Shrimp entree. I always request my beef to be cook medium or medium rare. The beef was cook VERY well done it was dry, hard and chewy. ordered the same beef shrimp entree to go beef for a family member, again they left out the miso soup. So check your order before leaving. Been going at this place since they opened, service just dropping at each visit and the reason for the re-review update from 5 to 3 star.

The food is excellent. Service tends to be hot or miss but it's worth the way for the food. It's a small restaurant and family friendly. They have a wide variety on the menu from ramen and son soups to sushi and yakisoba. Sooo many options and all delicious!

Mirin café is a decent little Japanese restaurant! that serves most of the food you'd expect to find at a Japanese place, It's got reasonable prices, and the food is pretty good, though not exceptional. A good local japanese, option for Escondido that isn't all about sushi!

I've been there a few times with friends and also grab some take home as well. Things that I have tried have all been very tasty and fresh! When dining in the staff is attentive of all of the customers needs. I have had the black garlic with chicken ramen and the mirin ramen you choose the protein. The spider roll was super fresh as is all the sushi. You can taste and see if sushi is fresh when just looking at it. I will be back and I recommend Mirin Cafe

Good food. Nice comfortable place to dine. The food tasted full of flavor and fresh. Friendly. We enjoyed this place. I'd offer to have a way to warm Saki. Cold doesn't release flavors. Beer only. Asian restaurants in North County aren't Bay Area. No matter what place I try no wine option. Two choices of beer. I had the shrimp soup. My partner Udon. Yummy! One other thing, in 6 years of living in Esco. I never went here. I thought it was a coffee shop.
