This place is great, really a hidden gem. Probably the best BLT I have ever had. The staff is great and the food is even better. Definitely one you are going to want to try! Great for breakfast or lunch.

Everything was delicious and the staff was lovely. I had the Italiano sandwich with fries, a salted butterscotch latte (phenomenal), and took a chocolate croissant and eclair to go.

The only downside is that the seating area isn't nearly large enough (inside or outside) and neither is the parking lot. If that was fixed, this place would be *chef's kiss*!

Stopped by for brunch with a friend. The menu is just big enough to not be overwhelmed while also offering a great variety of sweet and savory items. We got a pistachio croissant, mango cheese danish, almond croissant, and jalapeño turkey croissants. No complaints regarding the pastries as they were flakey, fresh, and not too sweet! We also got the breakfast croissant which was perfect to share. The sandwich itself was yummy though a tad heavy from the garlic aioli (I would get it on the side next time). We also got a hot chai latte and a hot rose chai latte since we heard the chai was made in-house. I would not recommend either of these drinks as they mostly just tasted like milk. Service is notable and wonderful. Seating area upstairs has a nice and welcoming atmosphere.

I have been here 3 times. So good! I went last Sunday just to get bread and they were HOPPING! A bunch of us are going next Sunday. I can't wait!

Beautiful building and all pastries look amazing. Unfortunately Google has this bakery listed as a gluten free option but it’s not. Not celiac safe by any means. Went in & asked for gluten free options and was given a bit of an attitude.

Perfect brunch spot with a beautiful pastry selection and great packaging for taking treats home. I've never been disappointed by any sandwich, breakfast item, pastry , or coffee here. There's plenty of seating available upstairs, as well as outdoor under the shade. It can get busy on weekends, but if you arrive before 10am, you'll have the best selection and little to no wait.

Unfortunately Handicapped seating has been limited to 1 table down stairs. No way to get upstairs. My favorite place in Poway. Im so sad. Seniors and Handicap not welcome.

Our son works close by and highly recommended we meet at O'Brien's for lunch. It is tucked away near industrial businesses, but easy to find. There were 4 of us. We had the BLTA, the Italian and 2 po boy sandwiches. Sandwiches come with choice of fries, homemade potato chips, or salad. I opted for the salad and loved the citrus dressing. I also teied a few chips, also great. Everything was fabulous. I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again. We also took home a loaf of sundried tomato sourdough, and a ustard brioche, apricot jewel pastry and a jesuite. We cannot wait to try them when we are not so full.
Also, important to mention is the upstairs decor. I love that you can watch bakers at work! What a great concept. Another thing I liked was that 2 of the walls were decorated with imitation flowers or leaves and both were super clean. I hate going to eat where there is visible dust, spider webs...on the decor.
We will be back!

Rather pricey for breads and pastries. Average price for simple pastries is 6.00 USD. A baguette is 6.50 and a loaf as step at 36.00 USD. Breakfast was average in price, quality was average and quantity was sufficient. Don't bother with the lobster omelette.

This place was such a disappointment!! Over priced, food was mediocre, lattes are way too sweet, the floors and tables were covered in food and filth! When we asked the server if she could wipe down our table she pulled out a dirty rag did a single swipe across the table missed all the food and crumbs and walked away upset we even asked if she could wipe the table, after that didn’t see our server not once, felt like she hates her job and takes it out on customers. This place is not worth the price, $60 for 2 standard breakfast plates of just eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast and 2 coffees!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Wish we could get a full refund this place was horrible.
