Going to customer for 40 years
We went there and it was closed and the new owner said they would take care of us and they would be open soon.. even told her he lived in Julian and we live 12 miles from there... And a girl working there would be happy to deliver us donuts for our trouble coming out to get some. Well today we went out just to get some wonderful donuts.
We still looking at the donut display that was quite lacking and after about 8 minutes of trying to get some help the lady that was installing the new machine we go up to she's noticed that we were there the whole while and asked can we get some help and she goes oh no we're closed I don't think we'll be going back to that place even the other customers that were there weren't getting any help and she could have just told everybody they were closed when we asked you said they close at 4:00 we were there at 3:30 we drove and did an errand we came back in other people were in our shoes really bad customer service I'm sad sad sad my donut place of 40 years is no more

Really fresh!! And amazing flavored

No one visits for the atmosphere/ambiance. The only reason to visit is to enjoy a wonderful donut or muffin or one of their other selections. The choices for donuts alone is huge. Enjoy and do not report this visit to your cardiologist!!

I've been going there for years and years and years and it was always good finally they got the new owners and I go in the morning it's been three times now that I've been standing there for about 10 minutes and they totally ignore me and they don't ask me if I need anything or anything I think that is BS Plus the quality of their product isn't as good as it used to be

BIG WARNING!!! Sneaky charge?

I just went to Peterson's Donuts on 11/23/2022. I found out that they only accept cash or debit card and they charge .95 cents to use the debit which I agreed to pay because I didn't have enough cash to cover the $15 I spent on the donuts... Days later I see that my bank charged me an additional $2.50 for using thier card swiper and called it a "non-network ATM fee". If I would have known I was going to pay that then I would have canceled as I never like getting out of network fees and they are already charging me almost a dollar anyway to use the card.

I just called this donut shop today who says they are aware of the extra $2.50 bank charge but it also depends on the bank. For confidentiality, I am not saying what bank I use. I know they have a sign on their window about the .95 cent charge... but I didn't see any notices regarding addit'l bank card fee... not sure if I missed that.

I called my bank right after the donut shop and they refunded me immediately and gave me a link to report possible shady biz practices. Which will be my next step.

I rarely buy donuts, but for now I will just pay cash. And it's always a good idea to keep on eye on your bank transactions for sneaky stuff because these days every dollar counts!

First time at Peterson's. Donuts are huge. Very tasty.
If I lived closer I would visit more.

It’s not in best part of town and you can smell things but the doubts and service is heavenly ; each kind of doubts I had it was to perfection

Best donuts we've had in years! The apple fritter was amazing. The old fashion was just as good and my husband is heating up his cinnamon roll, the size of his head, tomorrow morning for breakfast. These donuts are huge!!! I highly recommend this place!!!
