I love going to California and getting donuts, it reminds me of the donuts my dad used to buy on Sunday mornings in NJ, I live in VA now and I just cannot find the same kind of donuts I grew up with except when I go to California!

What happened to Petersons? They sold and the new owners have ruined the place. They used to be top notch donuts. Bigger and moister than anyone else I had ever had. Now they’re just an oversized version of any other donut shop and the prices!! It used to be reasonable now I just paid $10 for 3 donuts and they didn’t even have fritters made at 4am. How are they behind on baking when they are closed for 2 hours at night. Anotner thing!! What happened at 24 hours only closes Christmas week??- I used to tell everyone it’s worth the extra drive for the quality now I don’t believe it is. I’m never going back again!! See ya Petersons. Long time customer.

Huge selection of large, unique, decadent donuts. My eyes liked to them a bit more than my taste buds. Supposedly when they are just out of if the oven, they are magnificent but just average when I tried them at night time for dessert. Definitely an experience and a well known and trusted donut shop. I recommend.

My girlfriend went here a few days ago to buy some donuts been going there for years however they stopped taking cash. I'm going to stop being a customer! Cash is King it's the American way if you don't take cash then myself and many people like me are not going to shop there

Thank you💗 ever so often I get a craving for this places sprinkle donut holes in specific. They’re open later than most places which is great because I wake up late. I order on grubhub but make sure to call before to make sure they still have some of these left. They’re good for the rest of the week in a ziplock. Chocolate ones are the best but both are amazing.

Absolutely delish donut rounds that were so moist and delicious. I love this spot and had to come to a famous spot like this. However I am personally more of a fan of Parlor donuts but this place is certainly a classic and have such an amazing variety if you come in a group

We’ve been going for years but now the quality of the donuts has dropped considerably. The donuts tasted old, hard and were not fresh at all. The apple fritters lacked flavor, over fried, tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil. After a couple bites, I threw it away. We’ve heard that the original owners left and the new owners are cutting corners to make a profit. There’s no more love in their donuts and you can taste it. We’re not coming back anymore. Thanks for the memories! 😢
