Unfortunately, to me the quality has gone downhill a bit. The doughnuts all look so good but It doesn't matter tye type you get, they kind of all just tast like fry oil and sugar
I went to get a donut this morning from San Marcos to Escondido just because i was craving Petersons. They're usually really nice but there was a lady with long brown hair that was rude. She kept looking at me like I was bothering her as I was trying to decide what I wanted and I was the only customer there! And it's not like I took a long time to decide. I miss the old owners of Peterson's They should have never ever sold the place If anything maybe brought it down to a family member that ran the store like he did. They barely ever have the original donuts we love. We used to have to wait to order forever in order to order but so well worth it.
