We recently moved to Escondido and were looking for a local pho restaurant when we discovered Pho Saigon Express. This was hands down one of the best pho soups I’ve had in the San Diego area. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I had the spicy beef pho, my wife had the chicken pho, and we ordered egg rolls as an appetizer—everything was delicious. Highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back.

Their pho broth here is delicious!! We ordered the P12 that came with the rare steak and fatty brisket - we were fans of the rare steak but not so much the brisket. But the broth was the best broth I’ve had so far in San Diego and I’ve lived here my whole life; it’s so rich and flavorful. Only other place I’ve had good, rich broth was in San Jose.
We also ordered the A2 spring rolls, taro boba, and halo halo. Spring rolls were good. Taro boba was great. For the halo halo, I wish they put Ube ice cream, or any type of ice cream, to make it more creamy.
All in all, food was delicious and service was fantastic. We’ll def be back! 😊

Pho Saigon Express sits on the corner of Broadway and Washington in a little shopping plaza with a great view of KFC. There is plenty of parking and the restaurant seems to be large enough to handle a decent crowd. It was 12:30 and there must have been 25 people in the restaurant. Service is excellent as water was brought, orders taken and food started coming out a few moments after our order. We being creatures of habit order Shrimp Spring Rolls and large bowls of Chicken Pho. Spring Rolls came out with Peanut Sauce and we both thought the sauce was delicious. The Spring Rolls were in need of a tighter swaddle as they started to come apart as we dipped. Good nonetheless, we are warriors so we prevailed. Next came the Chicken Pho. OMG Becky, that soup was awesome. I kid you not! That was some of the best broth we have had since moving back to Southern California in 2022. The Pho had mounds of chicken and a truckload of noodles. It might have just qualified for the Mount Rushmore of Pho's. Price was on point with other places with the Spring Rolls ringing the register at 10.99 and large chicken pho at 15.99. This visit earned an easy 5 stars and a return visit in the future. A must try for lovers of Pho!

I ordered the seafood pho and paid 6.99 for extra shirmp totaled to 26.00$ ended up getting 6 freaking shrimp plus pho lack on flavor .

This restaurant is far too expand tonight for what they offer. Food was all right. I also know prices have gone up all over and I am understanding of that. I have got better food other places for same prices. All and all, I give it a 3. 2 for Google.
