I haven't been here in a while and was craving a beets, carrots, pineapple.and spinach juice. I ordered a large cup and requested no ice. I got my drink its it was just below half way with actual juice and the rest was foam, you can't drink the foam. I was about to get charged around $12 for a half empty cup of juice. I expressed my concern with the cashier and I asked her if she would charge me for the medium which is about $8. She was hesitant but eventually agreed to it. I feel like they fill the entire cup with ice and only top it off with a small amount of juice which is a rip off/scam.

Que Tortas! in Escondido is a true hidden gem! Hands down the best torta I’ve had so far in California — packed with flavor and made to perfection. We also ordered a pressed juice, and you can really taste how fresh the fruit is, absolutely top-notch. The place itself is spotless, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Everything about this spot makes you want to come back.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, delicious food in a clean and inviting atmosphere!

You’re better off getting a sandwich from jersey mikes you’ll be spending over $20 for an alright torta/sandwich you’re better off going to subway or jerseys mikes for a better deal and food

The staff was friendly, and the food was great. However, I was disappointed with the size of the smoothie. I ordered a medium, but it looked more like a small—about the size of a regular 12oz soda can. If this is considered a medium, I can’t imagine how small the actual small is. For just a dollar more, I could’ve gone to my usual spot and gotten a large smoothie that’s at least two and a half times bigger.

Always get salmon tortas for my kids, they are picky with what's on it, so we always modify. They always get it right. Food tastes great. Fresh smoothies and fruit bowls. Family friendly, as a parent its hard to find good places were you can dine in with small kids. Several times we have ordered and ate there, and one time they even put a Disney movie on, so we overstayed our welcome, because my kids were enjoying themselves eating and watching movie.

someone bought me a plate of chicken salad and the cheese had green mold on it.
We used to love coming to this place but the price has increased over the years and the quality has gone wayyyy down. The tortas used to be nice and full but now they are so flat that they are disappointing. The flavor has also changed. For 3 tortas it was almost $45. I would not be so upset if they had improved their tortas to reflect the price they charge but this is not the case :( It’s better to make your own tortas at home at this point

Eating here got so damn expensive.. I spend in a sandwich and a medium juice over $25 it’s better to go out for steak 🥩 at a restaurant.. the sandwiches are fine but the drinks OMG tons of ice and foam on top and only 2 fingers of actual juice .. I used to order for my whole family now can’t do it anymore cause is too expensive for a sandwich with a juice .
