I haven't been here in a while and was craving a beets, carrots, pineapple.and spinach juice. I ordered a large cup and requested no ice. I got my drink its it was just below half way with actual juice and the rest was foam, you can't drink the foam. I was about to get charged around $12 for a half empty cup of juice. I expressed my concern with the cashier and I asked her if she would charge me for the medium which is about $8. She was hesitant but eventually agreed...

Que Tortas! in Escondido is a true hidden gem! Hands down the best torta I’ve had so far in California — packed with flavor and made to perfection. We also ordered a pressed juice, and you can really taste how fresh the fruit is, absolutely top-notch. The place itself is spotless, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Everything about this spot makes you want to come back.

The staff was friendly, and the food was great. However, I was disappointed with the size of the smoothie. I ordered a medium, but it looked more like a small—about the size of a regular 12oz soda can. If this is considered a medium, I can’t imagine how small the actual small is. For just a dollar more, I could’ve gone to my usual spot and gotten a large smoothie that’s at least two and a half times bigger.
