The wait was super long and they skipped us on the wait list. I showed her my phone to prove she didn't call. The girl with the glasses and black hair was rude and not just to us, but other tables as well. The tiny girl who took our table also didn't take our order correctly but was able to correct one of them and was really sweet. I just didn't have it in me to ask her to correct the other one and didn't see it as a big deal. They were also out of a lot of dishes. This location is very small and I think you should invest in technology for people to log in for wait times to relieve the waitresses or the stress and outdoor seating.
The brussel sprouts were AMAZING! Highly recommend! Pork gyoza was a 3 and my husband said the spicy miso ramen was a 2.5. I got the BST which is give a 4.

Delicious and authentic ramen. But the wait was way tooo long… I didn’t read about the long wait in the reviews, so I think I should share my experience. I didn’t expect to go there and wait for an hour outside the ramen shop…. That plaza has no interesting shops to hang out, so it’s quite boring and cold in November. Btw it’s a Saturday night. We have only 2 people, but we waited 1 hour….
Hungry and Cold…TT
I wish they can adopt some waitlist system, so we can get on the waitlist before we drive there.

Came here for lunch one day with my dad and wowzaa this place surprised us! The tonokatsu was perfectly crispy and juicy, and my dad enjoyed the ginger profile of his ramen. It was so different from your usual pork broth. Definitely would come back ☆
Very nice Japanese food restaurant! I got the Gyudon/Beef Bowl and it was pretty good! It wasn't too busy and the service was fast and friendly. Good vibe with the music and cleanliness of the place, cool art on the wall as well. I feel like the food was worth the cost, you could definitely do worse elsewhere for the same price. Would recommend!

Food was way overcooked which I didn't know could happen to ramen and calamari was rubbery.

I had hoped to find a satisfying ramen place in the area, but the food fell short of my expectations. The menu was quite limited, and the flavors were lacking. The broth was overly oily, and the protein portion, especially the meat, was meager. The fried rice was plain and served on a small plate.
The restaurant itself was clean and had an open kitchen, but the service was disappointing. Despite being seated quickly, we were brought cups of ice without water. I had to ask our server for it. I typically finish my ramen, but I left more than half of it uneaten due to the lack of flavor.

Hands down one of the most authentic Japanese ramens you can have in SoCal. The flavors aren’t hipster and true to the cultures roots.

First adventure to this place! Pleasantly suprised, I ordered the mi so hot. Flavor was off the charts, vegetables were perfection. The pork was so tender, very well balanced. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Spice was not overbearing and broth was amazing. I highly recommend this ramen house. Will definitely be in the rotation! My Waitress Laura was knowledgeable and attentive and food came out super fast and the place was very clean.

Droppin diamonds in esco. Me so hot ramen and squid flavors and freshness super legit. They treat their veggies with respect too, and prepare them artistically blending form and function. A theme vibrating throughout the dining room walls and fixtures heightening the atmosphere. Pork chasu just wonderful, I’d order an extra piece next time. And there will be a next time because with the xlnt smiling service from the staff, the thank yous and professional demeanor- staff was well trained and enjoy serving. Nicely done, Escondido native here- anywhere else who try to do ramen in this town failed miserably. Happy to say that for 30 minutes I was transported to what I could have believed was Mira mesa or convoy. Raise the stakes!
