This small storefront pizzeria is easy to overlook, but we strongly recommend you seek out Rocco's. They do delivery and takeout only, and we're just fine with that. Our favorite is the sausage and mushroom pizza and it is perfect every time. The pizza is fresh, tasty ingredients are plentiful aboard the chewy crust, prices are reasonable --- and you get a free 2-liter bottle of your favorite soft drink as well. Give 'em a call and try a Rocco's pizza (or a calzone, or a sandwich ...)!

Absolutely fabulous! I went in on a pregnancy craving and drove away a huge fan! I got a chicken club pizza and chicken Alfredo pizza, some of the best pizza I've had! Highly recommend

Great local pizza place! I ordered ahead of time for a party and it was very easy to place the order. Extra kudos for the attention to detail. I had a member of my party that has a very sensitive pork allergy and told the staff about it when I placed the order and double checked the day of as well. They were very professional and made sure not to cross-contaminate the pizzas.

The best pizza in Escondido! Just tried their Italian subs, sausage and chicken parmigiana. Excellent!!! Also tried their large calzone with 3 toppings, it is the biggest calzone I have ever seen and absolutely delicious. My wife tried the manicotti and meatballs, also delicious. The staff there are very friendly. Definitely our go to for pizza and take out Italian food. 5 stars!

It was our first time to Rocco's Pizza. The owners were so delightful from our phone order to in person. Love the family atmosphere. The pizza's were Amazing and the Greek salad was delicious. Definitely going back to this place.
I'm from Jersey, where some of the best Italian food can be found. Oh, I just felt so excited being in there seeing that it was a little mom and pop pizzeria. I got the Italian meatball sandwich, with no cheese, and I heard the lady on the phone talking about cannolis and so yes I ordered one. The meatball sandwich is just what I expected. The meatballs have a nice flavor. The sauce is good and the bread is perfect. And the cannoli is ... heaven to me I asked about their pizza, because where I come from we love the thin crust where we can fold a slice in half as we go to eat it and I was told yes just order the thin sliced pizza. I can't wait to have one of their pizzas. But from what I had today I am in love with Rocco's pizza, and this is my new joint for Italian food in Escondido.

Great pizzas! Tastes so fresh with the sauce and cheese they use and they throw in a free 2-liter of soda when you order a large or giant pizza which is real nice! Their prices are also pretty reasonable in comparison to most.
