Sandwich Emporium is just right to serve a small local area with favorites and some House Specials. The Spicy Julio is satisfying with the slow cooked house roast beef. The Saigon Grinder with premium roast turkey and house Asian coleslaw is refreshing. The house Tomato Soup needs tuning and is too watery. The Macaroni Salad is sweet and watery. Grilled cheese and hot dogs also on the menu besides the usual hot and cold sandwiches. Personable and friendly staff. Plenty of parking...
I heard that some people complained about the prices , yea the prices go up, but honesty the wave in San Diego go up to $11.50. Is normal that the owners have to rise the price for buy the products and the wave for their employees, even though they have Great service and delicious food. I love the Cali Melt ( turkey ,avocado hot sandwich).
The sandwiches here are delicious for sure. My only complaint would be that they are not big enough for the price. But not by much a little heavier on the toppings or a little less in price and I would definitely have given a 5 star rating.
