The only Shakey's Pizza in all of San Diego County! It's kinda like the Bip Roberts of pizza restaurants!

The pizza is very good. It costs too much, though. $30 for a large 2-topping that's not super large, only reason it's not 5 stars. I do appreciate that they don't prompt you for a tip ordering at the counter. They have Padres games on the TV too.

Kyle gave the best energy anybody could’ve asked for. Served with a genuine smile. One of the best Shakeys I’ve ever been to. Couldn’t asked for better service. 🙌🏼 We’ll be back again !

This is the best buffet I have ever been to! The pizza (especially the desert pizza) is delicious, and don't sleep on the chicken drumsticks! I will 100% be coming back!

I have always loved the Shakey's Pizza buffet. They had plenty of hot pizza ready to eat along with spaghetti and meatballs, fried chicken and mojo potatoes. A decent salad bar too.

Their sauce is a little sweet, which was unexpected for the pizza, but it didn't ruin it. Just weird. The fried chicken was fantastic!! That is what I would go back for. Tons of seating, many screens, and a game room for tickets and a prize counter. Got a slinky 🤘

This place feels like an old time pizza parlor is supposed to feel like. The brunch on Sunday was excellent. Not only do you have an all you can eat salad bar with more items than one can imagine including chicken two different ways, but pans of pizza under hot lights sliced and ready for the taking. Various kinds too: Everything, Hawaiian, Pepperoni, and Cheese styles, as well as delicious garlic bread to go with their spaghetti. There was some sort of chocolate chip pizza for dessert, but I am not into that. Seriously, for $15 a person it is a pretty sweet deal.
As you’re eating, there are guys busting tables and removing your used plates while you’re busily digging into a new plate. I topped off my meal with their Jello Ambrosia. Yum.
If you want to know how clean a restaurant’s grill and kitchen is, always check the bathrooms and floor under tables. If they’re clean you’re in a safe place to eat. Clean bathrooms and restaurant floor including a very large handicapped stall in bathroom.
I’ve been here for dinner, but this was my first brunch. I’ll definitely be back!!

Among the few remaining dine-in quick-serve pizza places, this is the best around. Got a pan crust combination with meats and veggies which was very good. The crust was tasty enough with a nice crisp on the cornicione and bottom, but I think I'd like their regular thin crust better. The sauce was very tasty and they apply the perfect amount, unlike many places where you can hardly taste it. Some complain there's not enough cheese, but I think it's just right. Just ask for extra if you're a big cheeshead. There are shakers at the tables with grated parmesan and red pepper flakes.
The salad bar is about the best I've seen at such places, with two lettuce types plus spinach, and more fresh toppings and dressings than you need. It's great that they offer a one-trip option for only $6.89 to complement a meal. They also have a decent selection of beers on tap.
For the $15 all-you-can-eat lunch, they add a variety of hot foods to the buffet like fried chicken, potatoes, pasta, garlic bread, meatballs, and of course pizza. It's a good deal compared to many other hot lunch options where you pay about the same for just a burger, chicken sandwich, or kabob wrap.
Prices are reasonable, service was fast and friendly, it's very clean and spacious with a small arcade, and the excellent health score is icing on the cake. I hope they'll be able to stay in business as the operating expense on the massive standalone building that used to house a Sizzler must be astronomical.

Exactly what you expect, good service and friendly staff. It's a large restaurant, nice & clean. Had family from the Philippines and they couldn't resist stopping in, as it reminded them of home. Food was enjoyed by everyone, zero complaints.
Great service and food!
Walked in and was greeted with a warm welcoming smile from Maria! After having a rough day the incredible service this employee provided was one of a kind. Needless to say, my heart and my stomach was filled today.
