By far the most shocking mexican food experience I've had in a long time in Escondido. Ordered carne asada burrito and rolled tacos. Burrito was barely toasted, tasted raw flour and gummy chewy raw flavors. Meat was completely under seasoned, almost as if the meat wasn't even marinated. My wife mentioned it smelled and tasted just like a hamburger with pico de gallo.
Secondly, rolled tacos were cold on the inside and swimming in a runny guacamole. Soggy and bland inside. One bite of each taco and we realized it needed to go in the airfryer.
Lastly, the most shocking part; Watery green and red salsa. Almost as if someone decided, hey we are running low, I don't want to make more salsa, lets add some water to it.
How can it be this bad? There are too many other mexican restaurants in the area for customers to deal with this kind of food.

I've dined here twice, once over a year ago and again this last week. Both times received quick, friendly service and delicious, cheap food. Would highly recommend the 99 cent tacos! Really good chips and salsa and water included, which was unexpected for the low price!

I ordered rolled tacos and Juevos Rancheros. It arrived cold, the rolled tacos were stale, the globs they threw on top were brown. For the Juevo Rancheros they threw a cold corn tortilla straight from a bag cold into the container. On top was like someone poured a glass of v-8. Aweful. Recommend avoiding this place when requesting a food deliverly.

We ate outside in the covered patio. It was $6 for a huge plate of food: two big fish tacos, beans and rice, chips and salsa. The service was great; the waitress was fun. There was lively music and cold beers.
