My husband and I go into this Starbucks often and also use the drive-through as well. It is by far the best Starbucks in Escondido! The staff is friendly and know us by name. It is a pleasure to go into this Starbucks every day!

This used to be a great store but it isn't anymore. The service here is horrible and the drinks aren't very good either. I worked for Starbucks for 5 years and at that time customer service was number one. Based on the lack of service I received at this store on numerous times, I'm not even sure if they know what good customer service is. They almost seemed annoyed by the fact they had to help people. The worst barista by far is a big, heavy-set guy with dark brown hair who works the drive-thru. He opened the drive-thru window saying, "What do you want?" Not a good way to start. With so many Starbucks in town to choose from why go to one that gives horrible customer service?

Came here for years, always good service here, but lately every time I ask for anything “out-of-the-way” for my dietary restrictions, they get angry. Every time I mention something extra for my food-allergy, they seem to get annoyed and mess up my order which I‘m starting to think might be on purpose.I once asked the cashier at the drive through if a new item on the menu contained a certain ingredient, and he said “I wouldn’t know”.As if they don’t have an allergen information book. I just drove away out of nervousness. I’m not gona sit there and go “… well can you check?” And get treated like a nuisance.

I used to like this location because customer service was great and they get your drinks correctly. But currently the service has been horrible with new faces and new people who are currently working there. I always get 3 or more drinks in every order and they wouldn’t even ask if you need cup holder and when I get food with my order they also will not ask if you need bag to carry it to the point that they know my orders are to go. They don’t smile at you or give you that welcoming feeling. As soon as you walk in the counter they don’t greet you and does not ask for your name if you put in an online order to know if your drinks and food are ready, so turns out your drink and food are sitting on the counter for awhile and too bad if you get frozen drinks because they all are just melting for no reason at all when you’re there waiting to know if it’s yours. Today I Saturday 11.11.2023 I went and got 3 frozen drinks and they are melted with no taste at all. We ended up throwing them away. There was also a guy that works there with ponytail black hair who was so rude. I was waiting for a long time and when I ask is my order ready? He responded back in a rude manner, what do you want?!! I also asked for a holder, he got in and threw it on the counter in front of me! I didn’t want to make a scene at the store because that was not me. But that was a horrible way to treat a customer.

Heads up with the drive-through window lady not in the mood for you changing your order today. I was lucky enough to catch the eye roll and the distance of a “here you go HUN”. As I was handed my drink. Just as bad as bless your heart. Hey I get it. We all have those days.
