Either make better cups or go back to using two

Passing through Escondido, ordered thru the app and dropped in to use the bathroom while we waited. Our beverages were put out on the pick-up plane and we noticed that one of the drinks definitely didn’t resemble the other drinks…and they are all the same drink! I brought this to the barista’s attention (her name is Ashley), she had a very condescending attitude and just said that she made all 3 the same.

So I went back to the register to speak with another Starbucks partner and she referred me back to the barista who made it…who once again gave me sass about the drink being the same, didn’t even offer to fix the drink so I could hit the road. At that moment I decided to just get a refund and buy my drinks elsewhere…and guess what! I did! The other Starbucks prepared my drinks perfectly with the consistency I would expect from all the other Starbucks.

Ashley is very rude.

Great Starbucks and location, easy to hop on/off the freeway. Every time I order here, my food and drink is ready in under 10 minutes, sometimes it's already out for pick-up inside 5 min after I order. Have never had any issues. Last time I was here, they wrote a nice message on my cup!

I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks in my life and this is probably the most disorganized crew I’ve ever seen… I spent entirely too much time in here for egg bites and a plain black coffee, no frills. There were two people behind me who got their frapacino’s before I got my order. (which I believe take much longer than a plain coffee). Got the egg bites, no coffee. By the time I got my coffee, the bites were cold… They hadn’t even began to pour it when I had to ask. When the barista asked the guy who took my order about the name on the order, he played confused. Literally, the worst Starbucks on the globe in my opinion.

I pre-order her often, it is rarely ready when I arrive after the pick up time and a lot of times I have to wait 5 or so minutes. Staff are very friendly and drink is always as ordered.

After many years of being a loyal Starbucks customer, this location ruined my experience and makes me question my relationship with Starbucks. Even though I placed a mobile order on the app, a barista gave me such a hard time for asking for the restroom code and needing to use the restroom. She told me to wait in the long line for ordering and ask for the code when I got through the line. I should not have to wait in line and ask for a code to use the restroom. The logic is very flawed, and the customer service was very poor. Way to go for losing a loyal customer!

The three girls in the entrance by the registers were super nice no complaints. But the girl Rubi that made the drinks was not friendly at all. We had to ask to add caramel drizzle after paying for it and barely added any ice to one of the drinks. Did call and store manager said she would speak with her. Hopefully cuz her attitude was not great.. maybe she needs a day off cuz wow ..?

This is a conveniently located Starbucks. They staff is always helpful, the store is always clean. Recently, they took out all of their indoor seating, but there is still patio seating. So I suppose this location is best suited to pick up orders, evening visits, or for people that want to brave the relentless escondido summer heat. The store itself has AC and standing accommodations only.

Taking out the seating for customers was done as a legitimate safety concern. However, it would have been better if they worked with the property management to get guardrails installed versus removing one of the best features of this Starbucks that's been here for so many years.

It's still a great place to stop if you're running errand at the mall it's located in. There is a huge parking lot, but it can get busy. Tons of food, banking, and shopping nearby.

Vegetarian options: All Starbucks have some sort of vegetarian selection or snacks.

Dietary restrictions: They are always willing to customize drink to meet your dietary needs. It's never been an issue here.

Parking: There is a really big parking lot, but it is a busy shopping center with lots of business to service.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, but less so without seating. Standing tables inside are to tall for kids. Small Starbucks in general.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is, but wheelchair accessible parking is NOT located directly in front of the store.
