I walked in and the barista was in a bad mood. I knew her so I just chocked it up to her having a bad day.
I sat there on my computer. I was told I had to leave as I was looking at some healing work on my computer. Nothing inappropriate! I said I’d look at something else and they told me I had to leave! I’ve been coming to Starbucks since 2002. Never have I been asked to leave.
And this is from someone who knows me! I’ve been coming here for over a year!

I ordered the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and it is pretty tasty! The food I ordered on the other hand kinda failed. I got the turkey sage danish and a dark toffee bundt and I was disappointed with both. The danish, which I ate first, barely had any filling but was none the less pretty soggy. It also had green peppers mixed into the filling that I didn't expect to find. Then I pulled the messy bundt cake out of it's packaging. It was a really odd foam like texture that was moist in the wrong ways. Once I took a bite, I noticed how oversweet it was and that the Christmas sprinkles on top were melting away from sogginess. A horrible texture experience to be honest.

This location, and Starbucks in general, continues to disappoint. We went through the drive-thru and the woman taking my order was friendly, but when I got to the window, the guy working the register was rude and unprofessional. We ordered three items and we asked to split the order so that I could pay for my beverage and my sister could pay for hers on the app. The guy seemed put out and said I should have told him ahead of time. Then said he would not split, and sounded like he mumbled something else under his breath. Didn't think that was a big ask, as I have done this before. When paying with the app, I also asked if the promotion was included, and the guy didn't seem to know what promotion was running. Lack of training, unprofessional, and rude. Thanks, but won't be going there again. Most likely just not going to Starbucks. Not worth it.

SLOWEST SERVICE EVER! I can’t believe I’m reviewing this location again. It’s the closest drive thru near me so thought I’d give it another shot. I waited in the drive through line for about 15 minutes, without moving, before deciding to pull away and just go inside to order. The doors were locked with a sign taped to the glass that read, “drive thru only”. I didn’t see the sign at first and automatically just pulled on the doors to try and go inside. When I realized they were locked, I looked inside to see the employees looking at me and laughing. I was confused then saw the handwritten sign. No explanation, no reason why it was drive thru only. It was not a nice feeling to have the employees pointing and laughing at me. This location is gross and unprofessional. Go somewhere else and avoid this place!

Neither my partner or I prefer Starbucks over other places to get coffee. Once in a blue moon when it's more convenient to go there, we will. There's almost always disappointment, but at least there's caffeine.

I was not on this particular trip with him, but the details of it were relayed to me in full. I felt the need to alert the public to this issue. I doubt it's the first time it's happened, though it may be the first time somebody is writing about it.

My partner was getting his car worked on at a nearby auto shop, and decided he wanted to grab a bite to eat and a latte. He got an almond milk latte and as usual the flavor was disappointing, but at least there was caffeine.
He also got a bacon cheddar and egg breakfast sandwich. He said it seemed fine when he ate it, but a few hours later reported that he was both throwing up and diarrheal. Sorry to include such details, but it's important to know that sickness happens, and where it comes from. He had not eaten anything else prior to arriving there, and hadn't eaten anything else since then and therefore knew that his source of sickness was Starbucks.

I would highly advise that management watch their product more closley. It seems possible that an expired product slipped through someone's fingers and got on to the shelves. This is highly unacceptable especially for something that has such a high profile as Starbucks. Please do not school your employees, as their training is your responsibility. This is on you, not them.

My partner said the service was at least friendly, and that is precisely why this rating has two stars instead of one.

My advice if you go to this location (and possibly any other Starbucks) is to check the date of the item you are wanting to purchase. It should not be our responsibility, but as the staff and management doesn't seem to have a handle on this- it becomes our job to make sure we don't get food poisoning.

We will never go to this Starbucks again, we are definitely making sure that we are never eating their food again, and we are quite possibly taking Starbucks off our list and boycotting it all together. One can never be too careful when it comes to digestion.

This is by far the worst Starbucks I've been to. It was closed for a while recently (like a month or so?) and I thought it would get a nice remodel and hopefully new management, but unfortunately after reopening it looks exactly the same and has all the same problems. I ordered the Impossible breakfast sandwich on the app and while my drink came out the sandwich was nowhere to be found. Some time went on and I decided to ask what happened after waiting a long time for a cashier to show up. They had to check to see if they had any sandwiches and then informed me they were out, at which point I had to ask for a refund. No one cared to tell me they were out or offer me a refund, despite putting my drink out and seeing me take it. I got a partial refund for my order because I wanted the food and drink discount. Can't get that without food. I was not offered any sort of apology or sense that this won't happen in the future. As far as this physical Starbucks location goes, well the parking lot is small and terrible, the Starbucks itself is on the small side and the staff and management are pretty clueless. Overall the worst Starbucks I've been to.

I live in Escondido and work in Escondido. I can easily drive to 4 Starbucks on my commute and have tried multiple locations. This one by far is the best one. Always, always friendly I love the staff. They are consistently accurate with my order, fast, reliable, and keep the space clean. Today they especially made my day and I just had to give them some praise.

The kids here have extremely bad service and attitude. I asked for extra inclusions (which i know are extra) and they treat me as if I asked for my order for free.
The drink also tasted water down and look water downed more then other places. There's others starbucks close by with better service and drinks no need to be treated bad, especially after work when you're just trying to decompress and go home.
