Nice little shopping strip mall sushi place. Nice chefs and servers. Too much mayonnaise and imitation crab in the rolls we tried unfortunately. Left my stomach turning. Tasted yummy for westernized sushi.

Two people for Sunday night dinner. Salmon was extremely overcooked or cooked twice. It was also in a very strange oval and thin shape that reminded me of what a microwave tv dinner looked like in the 1980’s. Clearly it was not fresh and likely came out of a frozen bag of filets. The two meals we ordered were served separately and took a long time for my meal to come out. So I just sat there watching my guest eat their meal which was a salad with seared tuna on top. The salad was drenched in dressing so heavily that a puddle was remaining on the plate. She was very hungry after a long day so she went ahead and ate it. By the way the tuna on top did look fresh. We were both hungry so we ate anyway and I took some salmon home in a napkin for my dog.

Think someone needs to loosen up their dreads a little bit. Always super uptight and irritable when I come in here for my pick ups.

Really good food. All the fish was very fresh. Not a very large place, but certainly better than some of the better known places in terms of food quality. Ushi is expensive for sure, but it seemed better value for portion size. This is my wife and my new favorite for sushi in Escondido.

Ordered a kamikaze roll and gyozas. We got no wasabi or ginger. The roll cost $16. The price just keeps climbing and the portion and service are getting worse. The gyozas were dry. I paid $30 for a sad roll and dry gyozas. Wow. Never again, Nori Sushi - you're just not good anymore.

Sushi is great! Order for take out, they serve it in the same tray, next time I'll just specify...also ask for napkins.

Small place but they're good! Sunset roll is a fave, lots of others to choose from that are also good to great. The quality is there and it's definitely fresh. Good service and is a local staple that will always be a go to!

It's not a standard sushi like in Japan, but it's rich in variety and conveniently located, so I recommend it.
