To be honest, we weren't expecting too much from here. Boy, we were pleasantly surprised. The food is DELICIOUS. Nigiri. Oyster Shooters. Citrus Yellowtail. Green Lip Mussels. Hamachi Kama. Poke Bowl. Tempura Ice Cream. w0W! w0W! w0W! Do NOT sleep on this place. This is now our HAPPY PLACE for Japanese Food in Escondido!

Really bland food, the rice was terrible, and the tempura was incredibly low quality and tasteless, the only slightly okay thing was the California rolls but overall wouldn't come back, supermarket sushi is way better.

Today is not good. I ordered their salmon bento. The salmon was overcooked. It became dry and tough. The rice that goes with it is dry too, not enough water when cooked. This is the first time this happened to us and we've been coming here. Should have returned the food to the cook.

Served food the fish tasted spoiled, the servant had been ignoring us for at least 15 minutes. For some reason they went ahead and charged us for the tips themselves. I will never come back!
