To be honest, we weren't expecting too much from here. Boy, we were pleasantly surprised. The food is DELICIOUS. Nigiri. Oyster Shooters. Citrus Yellowtail. Green Lip Mussels. Hamachi Kama. Poke Bowl. Tempura Ice Cream. w0W! w0W! w0W! Do NOT sleep on this place. This is now our HAPPY PLACE for Japanese Food in Escondido!

Today is not good. I ordered their salmon bento. The salmon was overcooked. It became dry and tough. The rice that goes with it is dry too, not enough water when cooked. This is the first time this happened to us and we've been coming here. Should have returned the food to the cook.

Great food, quick service. We sat inside, which filled with people after we arrived, and was awfully noisy. The acoustics are bad for dining. We might try the patio, but it didn't seem available when we came in.
