I’m a little bit biased only because I work at the San Diego zoo Safari Park and what is the best places to eat is here at Thorn Tree they have hamburgers too even french fries too whatever you like you could actually check out their mail if you put it in Thorn Tree Terrace in Google and it will show you out the menu. It’s a restaurant in a zoo. We got the double cheese burger and bacon cheeseburger, can’t mess that up right? About $15 each. Burgers were over cooked, buns were thick and not toasted but it’s a burger so it was fine. Fries were surprisingly crispy and well seasoned but nothing to write home about. Staff was nice. Ask for ranch and ketchup, while the ranch was watery it helped make the burger less dry.Dining is all outdoors under umbrellas
This is a theme-park food stand, and I don’t generally expect much from such “restaurants.” That said, this place ain’t great. The veggie burger isn’t bad—the slaw, cheese and brioche bun are nice. The regular burger is kinda “meh” and there’s nothing special about it. They give small portions of fries with your food though which is disappointing. Their fruit is pretty fresh.
