Really clean and open spaced restaurant. The menu is not very big but the food was good. I was looking for a different place with a good breakfast burrito and this place hit the spot.

Great spot with some of the best tacos and burritos in north county! Customer service was amazing too! Gave us some sauces and warned us on how hot the chili oil on the table was too. Cannot wait to come back and try more food!

Chilaquiles people! Authentic and delicious. I usually get green, but the red is amazing. Go now, thank me later. The chili oil (salsa macha) will hurt you, so treat it with respect… but SO good!

This place is so good, it literally reminds me of Mexico City and Juanito! You will not be disappointed. I recommend the chilaquiles Rojos with Carne Asada!

Went to try the birria ramen, it was delicious!! Meat melts in your mouth, and broth was so flavorful that I wanted to slurp it at the end. Service was also very nice and attentive. Definitely going to come back to try other variations of the birria.

I'm originally from San Diego and already have my favorite tortilleria. However, some years ago we moved to Poway where there are no tortillerias. I usually shop at Northgate in Escondido, so I decided to look up a tortilleria and this one came up.
The owner is a very sweet lady. I love when she's there. The tortillas are great, just wish they were a bit thinner, but they do just fine. The tortilla chips they make are my favorite! My whole family loves them. My only negative is that you have to pre-order the masa. I usually only need 3-4 pounds, but you have to call the day before or they won't have any. If the owner is there she will go above and beyond to make sure to get it to you. I just never know if I'm going to go on a Saturday or Sunday, so I usually forget to pre-order the masa.
