We’ve been following renowned executive chef Deborah Scott for years, so we knew our bellies were in the right place. However, the service we received from Issac and Emma was absolutely impeccable. This team of servers went above and beyond, were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made for an evening we will never forget.

The cocktails, popovers, and sampling of the steak tartare set the tone right away. Next up was the light and crunchy kung pao calamari, shishito peppers with pork belly, and the crusted brie with crostini. Do not pass on these appetizers, you will not be disappointed.

Everyone enjoyed their entrées, but the showstopper was the unbelievably creative and delectable desserts. Ohhh myyy gosh, the ube cheesecake and mud pie are to die for, but the warm butter cake is what I would choose if it was my last meal on this earth.

Vintana is a true gem in Escondido. Service is exceptional. Food is amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Visited for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the offerings and the portions being full size. They even had a few mocktails for those abstaining. It was a little chilly and we were placed by the fire pits which was nice... until the wind whipped up! I am sure that wind is why we were so far away from the view which was a bummer but we still enjoyed the afternoon.

Rude staff, dismissive. You can't order happy hour at 5pm, if it ends exactly 5pm. Seems overly strict for a bar to have that attitude.

Came here for my Wife’s birthday dinner, let’s go through it! Unique, delicious drinks - recommend the “Cold fashioned” wonderful play on a classic. Pop overs for complimentary bread - absolutely amazing. Shishito pepper Pork belly app was probably the best “app” I’ve ever experienced. Entrees were top tier, dessert was wonderful. The service was perfect! Our server Annabella, was very helpful and friendly, she gave the recommendations on the Shishito pepper app* let us enjoy our dinner while also promptly delivering anything, went above and beyond for my wife’s birthday. Couldn’t be happier.

Great service and delicious food. Their crusted Brie appetizer was amazing. The Moroccan cauliflower and the sea bass were excellent.

Dinner and drinks were all excellent. Our server, Issac, was terrific and everyone was attentive and kind. We had the 3 course meal for Restaurant Week and it was all outstanding. I prefer the selections on the dinner menu to the lunch menu.

The seafood platter was great, but the steak left a lot to be desired. We had the oyster Rockefeller and scallops appetizers. Three pieces each. They were good

The service was great. We didn't know it, but came right in time for happy hour! We didn't have reservations because we were waiting at the Lexus dealership, but were able to sit at the bar. The Lobster Bisque was wonderful and the King Pao Calamari was good too.

We had such a lovely time here celebrating our Anniversary! The food was delicious, and the service was amazing!

We have eaten here since the restaurant opened. The quality of the food has significantly gone downhill. We have loved the lobster bisque, but this time it was not very good. Our friends sent their Caesar salad back due to a lack of taste. The sea bass was overcooked. The pork chop was good, but a little tough. I don't know what's happened, but the last several time we've eaten there, we've been disappointed.

Food was good, however soup and coffee were not warm enough. Service was slow, we were done for 15-20 minutes and had to track down server to get a coffee refill and to go boxes.

The service was unusually slow on this occasion, which was quite unexpected. I hope this is just an isolated incident and not a recurring issue. Considering the cost of the service, such delays are unacceptable, especially since the establishment wasn't particularly crowded at the time. I still recommend, and will definitely go back in the future.

As always, we were pleased with our visit to Vintana. We went as a part of a dinner and a show promotion in conjunction with California Center of the Arts Escondido. The menu choices for this deal were great, and we really enjoyed the bottle of wine recommended by our server, RJ. Speaking of RJ, he was funny, engaging, and an excellent server.
