This restaurant has great food. All 4 of us had something different and everything was great. The view of the bay with the fishing boat was nice too. The wait staff were very attentive and were helpful with suggestions also.

I was so excited to see Lobster Rolls on the menu. Despite being expensive I ordered this. What a disappointment! Very small pink rice roll with some kind of mash inside that did not taste like lobster At All. They included an empty lobster tail on my plate so I’d remember what I was eating. Place was not busy but waitress neglected to bring our miso soup prior to bringing our meal. We had to ask for it.

The Katsu chicken, rolls and kid's teryaki were generally good. There was no burdock/gobo root in my husband's roll. It was on the menu.

This has been one of our most favorite restaurants in Humboldt for years. The sushi is amazing and their Teppanyaki is also very good. We had our daughter's tenth birthday dinner here and the staff were wonderful with the kids. The teppanyaki chef made sure to Amp up the entertainment which we really appreciated. Thank you!

On a tour to the California & Oregon coast, we were taken to the Bayfront Restaurant in Eureka California for one of our dinners. They billed themselves as a Japanese/Italian restaurant, and there were both found on the menu. I had teriyaki salmon and my husband had teriyaki chicken. The food was good, and the portions were generous. Our large group of 36 were accommodated without difficulty. Considering the size of our group, the service was reasonably efficient, and the staff was friendly and courteous. There was an error on one of our tour members’ meal, which was quickly and courteously corrected. I can’t speak to the price/value, as it was covered in the cost of our tour. In the same building there were also a teppanyaki area, and an ice cream shop.

The only thing this place has going for it is the view and pleasant waitstaff and bartenders. But really the meal is why you go to a restaurant is this place struck out. The ambiance is lacking, and the meals were tasteless with no presentation on the plate. It was yucky and not worth finishing the meal. With so many options, just move on.
Ideally located on the seafront, the place is large and offers a wide choice of Asian specialties. We ate very well and enjoyed the sunset. One of the few restaurants open after 8pm too. It is recommended

On a whim we decided to try this restaurant while visiting Eureka for the week. We had a big part of 14 for lunch and they had the room to accommodate. I am not a seafood person so I ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice. The chicken was good but the fried rice was outstanding. The view was amazing on the water and the service was top notch.

Sitting here now at a table with a water. Waitress has had an attitude and must think I’m not a good tipper. Her loss. Over 30 minutes and have not been ask about my order. Maybe because I’m alone since I’m here from out of state teaching a class for the state of California. Will be leaving now.

We stopped into the Bayfront for a late lunch after being on the road. Super nice people and great food. I had spicy tuna sushi and a huge spinach salad, complete with bacon, egg, and mushrooms. Husband had Italian food that he devoured. We liked this place so much that we came back for dinner when the family came to town. Five us us enjoyed our meal! Very good wine list.
