Did not expect much from an Italian/sushi place with the ambiance that's more like a Dennys, but to sit down for 20 minutes and not get a waiter made me feel like the customer service was as bad as the food, thankfully we left before oordering due to the slow moving staff.

Went with a group of friends the other day, it was my first time eating here, and this is definitely a 5/5 star restaurant in Eureka. The food was fantastic, better than usual for restaurants in the area, and the prices weren't outrageous. Our waitress was attentive and funny, we really enjoyed her. I wish I took pictures of the food. We got a couple rolls of sushi, chicken katsu, udon, and a crab burger and every dish was beautiful.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian udon, sushi, and several other options I forgot, but there were about 6 or 7 items.Parking: Plenty of parking, should never have a problem finding parking.

I think about Bayfront often - was my favorite place to eat when I lived locally. The freshest food, blissful atmosphere & outstanding service. I would come back to California JUST to eat here! Truly wish this restaurant the absolute best & many many more years to come!!

Waited awhile for the food flavors were ok all the food came out at seperate time was told one thing then another multiple staff in a frenzy alot of them were very rude in there approach to handle the situation brittany was very nice thankfully or we would have left originally id say not worth ur time if the staff cant work together we were so excited to try this place very disappointed
We ordered shrimp and calamari tempura. The seafood was tough and tasteless. No juice. It was precooked and then just battered and fried. Tempura is thin and delicate. This batter is thick and oily, just like fast food. The sushi ordered was grade C.

They have good food and great view of Humboldt bay. First time we have been for lunch. I had a bacon cheese burger and David had Teriyaki steak. Both good.

My 17 year old daughter went here for a birthday dinner with all her friends. She spent $50 on her own food - one plate, got halfway done and found a large hair in her food. It turned her stomach and she politely asked for a refund of her hard earned money. They flatly refused telling her she had already eaten most the food! ?No apology either! She works at Sushi Spot so she knows about service! She was very upset and then proceeded to have diarrhea all night. It was confirmed the next day that two other friends also got diarrhea! Don’t go here! Such a bummer for a local experience. Maybe new ownership as it used to be good?

I've been coming to Teppanyaki for the last 8 years for my birthday, and tonight was an absolute disappointment ,each of our meals were over cooked filet mignon cooked well done EVERYTHING was severely over cooked and my brother's salmon was completely raw and went in the garbage as well as my sister's lamb! He covered the food in oil no seasoning, didn't do the onion stack ,threw the rice on the plate instead of a bowl! Snapped at my brother about first over cooking the salmon then a completely RAW, most of the food went in the garbage with no compensation whatsoever!!! We spent well over 600$ I'm so disappointed that was definitely my last Teppanyaki

The food is consistent and I love that, it's located right on the Bay which makes for great atmosphere.Their chicken katsu, with salad is a favorite. The service is good, the food is quick and good.We have done the teppanaki side years ago for Birthday party and it was alot of fun too. Food was great, fun interaction.
