This is a tough one, because I found the staff to be very nice and the veggie burger was exquisite. However, that I was the only patron under the age of 65, and that one was loudly discussing outright conspiracy theories made for a less than safe or inviting atmosphere. It is a cool old building though.
We went for our 38th anniversary dinner! We shared oysters on the half shell as an app. I had their Halibut special and Jeff had Scampi. Both were excellent. We both had drink specials they were excellent also. We did not have dessert, we were too full. Our bartender and server were great! I recommend Cafe Waterfront. We went at 8:30pm on a Monday night.
Let’s start with the food…amazing. I think it might’ve been the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. I also had the small fruit plate & it was super fresh. I think it was grown locally but that’s just a guess. My partner had the French dip sandwich, which he liked but it was just meat & bread with the au jus on the side.
