The donuts we got were amazing! So light and tasty. Also purchased a small loaf of bread that had a beautiful crust and was soft and tender inside. We plan on making this a weekly stop. Can't wait to try a cake!

Such a sweet place! My favorite was the chocolate peanut butter donut, which was recommended by the staff.

I have walked and driven by this place many times when they were closed, and have been wanting to try them out for quite some time. I went here with my sons this morning and we were all impressed. The service was courteous and friendly. We tried a variety of donuts including an apple fritter, a raspberry and apricot danishes and a custard filled chocolate donut. They were all very good. One could easily make the case that these are the best donuts in Eureka. They also have some nice looking cakes. The champagne log looked good too.Kid-friendliness: They were patient with my children. ( 10 and 12), both of my sons enjoyed the ordering experience.

The donuts and pastries are so light and yummy. Not heavy like some other places. Always look forward to a treat when I'm in town. Good coffee too. Friendly service.

I ordered pumpernickel bread from cherry blossom bakery today, I was informed it would have a slight rye flavor because it’s a European recipe not an east coast recipe. To my surprise it tasted nothing like a light rye pumpernickel more like a cheap over risen yeasty whole wheat bread you can purchase for 99 cents. I called Cherry blossom to only ask if maybe they accidentally gave me the wrong order, and described the flavor of the bread. The “ baker “got on the phone with a very heated voice yelling at me belittling me over talking me, I couldn’t even get in a word. Honestly I was just curious if I received my preordered pumpernickel, I never ever asked for a refund or a new batch of breadNot only were their product not satisfactory their customer service was even worseI give them 15 thumbs down

I have been coming here for several years. The owner and counter staff are warm and delightful. The fritters are truly out of this world: light but also outrageously tender…and the apple taste is front and center. Their Finsk Brod cookies are straight out of my childhood, and I adore their cakes. Everything is delicious, fresh and scratch made. Bee at the counter makes you feel like you have walked into a neighbors kitchen, and her energy is the best start to any day (except maybe for those fritters :) ). No other establishment in Eureka compares. A must visit.

Cherry Blossom is absolutely, hands down, my FAVORITE bakery of all time! Have been getting treats here for as long as I remember since childhood. All the negative comments saying it's "just a mom and pop" and "old-fashioned" is EXACTLY why I love Cherry Blossom! Why would one want to go to a corporate, cold bakery in the first place? Bakeries SHOULD be mom & pops!!! And I've always, without fail, have had excellent customer service. Perhaps the negative commenters should remember that you get back what you put out. I absolutely despise cakes from Ramone's and the Co-op; they may look pretty, but they're also bone dry and dense, more bread/muffin like than real cake, with ick "healthy" tasting frosting. When I want frosting, I want the creamy, sugary kind only!!! Every year for my birthday, I get one of their famous pink champagne cakes. My birthday was yesterday, and I admit the cake is almost gone- it's THAT good!!! The bakery, a Eureka legend, has been open since 1927 and it's the only place locally to find pink champagne. It's a proprietary, secret recipe too! Please, please Cherry Blossom, never go out of business!!! For those who say their cakes look old-fashion- go to Ramone's then for a fancier, yet dry and not as good cake. For me personally, I'll take some pretty & delicious classic buttercream roses!!!

My favourite is the maple filled bars. And the pink champagne cake. We definitely ordered cakes for our special days. But sometimes just because cake is good. I love getting a donut first thing in the morning when they are still warm. Locals know this is the spot for good treats.

Not worth the money. Sadly disappointed in a $55 cake. I specifically asked to have custard filling.. none.. cake was moist special pink champagne cake but no way worth 55$ . And for that price should be decorated a little bit nicer

Bought 3 dozen cupcakes for my five year old's birthday party, barely any frosting and hardly any sprinkles, from a visual perspective very disappointing. Called to let them know our experience was less than ideal and that I wasn't asking for anything but wanted them to know about our experience. The owner had no questions and seemed to not care. I strongly recommend going to Mia Bella's in Arcata and not waisting your time or money with this shop.

Cake was amazing, everything from the presentation to the taste and texture. The cake was a pink champagne and it was so moist and soft and the icing wasn't too sweet it was absolutely perfectThe filling as well was clearly homemade and tastes amazing I will absolutely be coming back here in the future for cakes I need
