Cute little cottage style restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and outdoor seating. I ordered at a window inside.
I got the falafel plater and a pita. The sides I chose were the hummus, pickled beets, zhoug, and baba goulash. The baba goulash was my favorite. The beets were not vinegary and were refreshing. The hummus was tasty and the zhoug nice and spicy. Tasty and crispy falafel balls on a saffron rice drizzled with a tahini sauce was the main dish and the pita was just right. I ate every bite and caught myself food moaning a few times.
I sat outside in a sunny spot and enjoyed the view and light breeze.
Except 3-4 main dishes containing meat or dairy, the entire menu is vegan. They assured me meat is cooked in different areas and doesn’t share oil. They don’t cross contaminate with vegan dishes.
It was after the lunch hour, yet they were busy. I’d go here again and recommend to locals and travelers. The restaurant is just a short ways off the 101 towards the sea on the left. Easy on and off in King Salmon.

Couldn’t love this place more. We ate here 2 days in a row for lunch while we were visiting. Had the falafel wraps, and you get to choose 4 sides to go in it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Owner is very personable and everything is handmade.

What a great find! Delicious Mediterranean food in King Salmon. We shared the falafel and chicken plates with the pita bread. Both were delicious! Hummus, Medi Pico, and lemon beats were are favorite sides.

The falafel plates and wraps are delicious. I love trying all the different sides. Now when I order - I ask the guys to pick the fillings - it is always different and always yummy. They cater to vegans and meat eaters. It is such a treat to sit outside along the canal and see what swims by. I've seen pictures of otters in the area, but haven't seen them myself yet! I'll keep looking for otters and I'll keep getting food here!

First time did not disappoint!! One falafel plate and one chicken plate. Fresh and flavorful. Cozy ambience on a beautiful Fall afternoon we chose to sit by the water. Friendly staff and fast service. So excited to have a new lunch spot!
Holy moly, if you love falafel then you must visit Falafel Love. Love is the vibe, the food is cooked with love and you will feel all the good vibes when you dine here. I got the falafel wrap with hummus, rice, fried peppers, pickled carrots and a green hot sauce that my brain refuses to let me remember. So good! And such a great welcoming space with dining on the bay front canal that even on a foggy day is awesome. When you walk in you are greeted with life. Plants and personal touches adorn this quaint but upscale dining space, its 5 star eats without the outrageous price tag. A northern Humboldt county must visit. If you are in the King Salmon area, just passing through or kayaking in the bay fishing this is a great destination for home cooked greatness served with heart and a smile. I love Falafel Love!!

You know it’s good when you buy extra for breakfast, right? Falafelove does not shy away from big & lingering flavors. They offer three entree options (falafel, fish & chicken) and a rotating specials and dessert menu that keeps you on your toes. The expansive choice of sides all bring joy, from cabbage to carrots, beets to baba ganoush, there is a flavor in there to excite. The kitchen is as open, inviting and genuine as the owners. Finally a restaurant that makes me happy to eat in Humboldt.

The food is amazing and done right. Everything is super fresh. The sides are hard to choose from because they are all really good. Their pita bread is fresh made with za'atar seasoning on it which makes it perfect to dip into the hummus and babaganoush. Sumac onions and schug are sooo good! Outdoor seating is the best! The owners are friendly and passionate about the food they put out.
