What a night! On vacation in Eureka, we asked a local at the dog park for a dining recommendation. Our server was Jake, and he performed quite well. Old Town Eureka was prepped for the Christmas walk, parking was free, and it was unseasonably warm.

Arancini stuffed with butternut squash risotto.
Brussels sprouts.
Wood-fired hen with fingerling potatoes. Grilled steelhead with lobster risotto.
Chocolate torte with s’mores topping.
My lady enjoyed the prosecco, and I the Lagunitas IPN/A.

Got the steelhead. Food was a bit saltier than usual but it was still very good. Dont get the soda, its not carbonated properly. Besides that it was a really good experience. The fish was cooked properly and so was the risotto.

This is a little gem of great service and great food. A top wine list. We were despairing of too many sandwich and burger places nearby. Enjoy some fusion cuisine and more. You will not be disappointed!

Service was great! Food was not good. This place looks like a dive bar that tries to be fancy. A steak is 56 dollars and they can't even cook it right. The gnocchi is like mashed potatoes in a ball, the texture was weird. It did not taste good.

Super design and fit out of the store, sympathetic staff/owners, yummy food and best coffee dieting our trip on the west cost. 100% recommendable
Drunk staff and food poisoning. Not a bad experience until the chef and bartender were spotted doing jameson shots at the bar mid-service, before she spilled a full water in my lap and on my wallet. Brought a towel and a halfassed apology and that was it. No manager, no recovery. Forgivable, maybe, until my wife stared puking her guts out later. We ate everything the same except beet salad. Whoever owns and manages this place needs to find some professionals. I teach servsafe, I'd be happy to come teach the kitchen proper hand washing.
