Delicious fresh made food! Although the restaurant was busy the waitress and cooks were working hard! While it was beautiful to sit outside, there was a wait so we belly’d up to the bar and watched how efficient and quick everyone worked together. Ordered a cup of their seafood chowder that had clams, shrimp and mushrooms and the Sandy Beach Sandwich with bay shrimp, bacon, green onions and cheddar cheese on grilled sourdough. Sitting at the bar we were able to see all of the food that came out! They had a hot and cold crab sandwich that both looked delicious . Their Pub Cod sandwich was huge! The Shrimp Louie salad was big and had a lot of bay shrimp on it. This place was definitely worth the wait! Don’t miss out!

We really were looking forward to eating lunch here! But the experience was different. We were less then welcomed and waited well over 30 minutes to even get our order placed while we saw several other tables getting their orders that arrived after us. The worst part was hearing the wait staff and the manager openly talking about how much they just wanted to go home. When we wanted to just leave, our wait person just kept walking by. No drink refills, no checking on our food, nothing. I would not go back.

My first time at Gills and it was great. Loved the food and the service was great. I’ll definitely go back.
Cute outdoor dining, striped umbrellas and potted flowers. Service was slow and food just average, Clam cutlet not breaded well but the side salad was excellent. Would not eat here again.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Felt like family.

I took one bite of my prawn and it was bland-ish/freezerburned tasting. I also requested salad and fries, none of which came out to me. I informed my waitress politely and quietly of the issue, then the front desk personnel. While i was attempting to pay, the waitress removed my love's plate from her without asking if she was done eating. Then they charged me 6.00 for my prawns meal, and made me feel like i was the problem, which "made it right" in their eyes I'll guess.?
