The employees are so rude. Drinks are poorly made.
Five stars all day! I stopped in the other day and what a surprise. Best coffee I have tried in a while! I’ll be ordering more online when I’m back home.
stopped in to try it out and omg best coffee we had the mocha and the caramel blended coffee and was perfect not too sweet and could taste the amazing flavor of the coffee, the staff is super sweet and service was stellar.... thank you ladies 🙏🙏🙏
I am profoundly disappointed with my recent visit to this establishment. Ever since the new ownership took over, the decline in standards has been glaring. The quality of the food and drinks has deteriorated significantly, and the service, once reliable, has become a recurring source of frustration. As someone who considered themselves a loyal regular, it’s deeply upsetting to witness this place falter so drastically.
Lately, errors with my orders, whether incorrect or incomplete, have become far too frequent. It’s unacceptable and entirely impractical for me to repeatedly return to have these issues corrected—they shouldn’t happen in the first place. Is there anyone in management willing to take responsibility and address this downward spiral? At this point, I have no intention of continuing to support this business, and I feel compelled to share my discontent. This level of service is simply intolerable.
I first went there in 2010, 24 years ago. I really liked the coffee here and have been back to visit there 2 more times. I have to visit this coffee shop every time. The coffee here is very delicious.
Best coffee in eureka hands down! :D
Love the coffee, and good to know they roast it locally! This is what I look like before coffee! Ha ha
Gold Rush is definitely my favorite place to hit for coffee (and now breakfast burritos too). At other coffee shops I find myself needing an extra shot of espresso for my drink to taste right but Gold Rush is always on point! See ya in the morning!
I ordered a 12 ounce white mocha with three shots. The reason why I don’t like that much milk instead I got a 16 ounce double shot which wasall milk. There was a reason I asked for a 12 ounce half sweet
I must say I am truly a gold rush girl. Worked here back in the early 2000’s and started my love for being a barista. Gold rush was my favorite stop anytime I could! The past 8-6 months my love for this establishment changed. Unfortunately the drinks and staff have gone down hill. Most of the staff looks like they have rolled out of bed, hair messy and greasy eyes puffy with boogers in the corners most in particular the lively lady with blue hair. I don’t get a very hard drink to make. Just drink hot chocolate and my partner drinks white mochas. Consistently our drinks taste like steamed milk and one with just espresso and steamed milk. Today we tried an experiment with my hot chocolate and asked for more chocolate. Still tasted just like steamed milk. I opened it thinking maybe I’m crazy and it’s caked at the bottom of them cup. Nope no chocolate at the bottom. Not to mention my cup this morning was given to me with greasey finger prints all over my cup and lid. I’m just really displeased with the recent changes made. Is itt the staff or new recipes. Either way. Can we please get back to the old ways. I really miss this being my go to spot.

My first time in / drive thru and had to wait quite a while but patience persevered and when I got to the window they handed it to me on the house apologizing for the wait and the coffee is delicious!
Yummy everything and they use local ingredients which I appreciate.
Croissant is fire bruh
In addition to the great coffee, the food is made on the spot. I was happy that the bagels and sandwiches are not microwaved from frozen out of a plastic bag, like a certain other popular coffee chain. I will be back here again soon.
Just paid $4 for a plain coffee that was watery and not even close to hot. Unimpressed
