So delicious, great vibes, warm and comforting food. I want it 3 times a week. Crave-able!

Well the paupusas were good, the empanadas came out of a deep frozen bag and the gazpachos were inedible, burnt to a crisp. It was a take away so we discovered this back at our hotel. They should be embarresed to hid burned food in a box and watch you walk out the door with it. This is poor quality control and discurtious to their clientele. I LEFT A TIP, BUT I WANT IT REFUNDED

Unique niche cuisine with dishes you can’t get elsewhere in the county even if the names look the same. The flavors are fresh and the profile is overall lighter than the more familiar Mexican dishes. Also, I love the atole/champurado drinks — so filling!

Stopped here during a roadtrip with my husband. The food is fresh and tastes amazing, my husband is Guatemalan and he was a bit skeptic at first, but WOW! Highly recommend this spot, it is reasonably priced also.

Ordered food to go. My husband and I had been wanting to try pupusas and this looked like they had some really good ones. It was our first time visiting California so we were not sure what to expect. The person who greeted us was very friendly, she took our order of three pupusas: cheese, bean and cheese, and beef and cheese. They were all super delicious. They came with pickled vegetables and a sauce. We also ordered the plantain desert to try and it was very good. Going back to the pupusas- you have got to try them, they were big and full of fillings and very delicious, very hot and fresh. I would def come back again.

The food was great, fantastic, excellent flavors. I had pupusas and the Guatemalan fries. Loved the green hot sauce they had at the table, haven't had anything like this stuff before.
The vibe of the restaurant was just opened. It felt like things were sort of haphazardly arranged. Random stuff in the corner in front of the door that looks like it should be the primary entrance.
It was also a little dirty, not concerningly so, but again it felt like they opened recently and were still cleaning up the place, but they've been open for over a year.
I found the menu a little confusing, a lot of things are not described, it just gives you the name of the food, and it's Guatemalan food that I've never heard of before, so I have no clue what it is or if I might like it. I also feel like the layout and overall formatting could use some work.
They were also out of coke and pepsi products, and horchata.
They also do not have an ADA compliant door handle to the restroom.
Overall I think you should eat here, it's great food, I just mention these things in case they are paying attention to reviews for feedback.

I had never tried Guatemalan food, so I was excited to try something new. My wife and I had pupusas and the Shuko. Both were delicious. I will definitely visit this place again next time I am in Eureka.

Pretty bland and stale. The chicken smelled in the burrito and there were many bones and joints which made it a horrible experience.

The sauces were tomato puree and completely flavorless. No jalapenos or any salsa or anything on the side to add flavor. Very very disappointed.

Maybe that's what you get for the price?

The food is EXCELLENT. Every dish we have tried is flavorful and exciting (pupusas, empanadas, pizzabierria, Guatemalan tacos...). Family friendly and the service staff are so kind!
