Great food, glad someone recommended this place while I was in town! The other place I went to the previous day wasn't nearly as good. Today I had the garlic prawn burrito and it was fantastic, very unique too! The guy working there was super friendly too, this is the kind of place I love supporting!

My favorite Mexican food in Humboldt. The food is great, high quality, authentic, is served quickly, and comes out hot. The service is quick and friendly. I love that they are family owned and operated and over the last few decades of coming here, they make me feel like family too. Their hot salsa is phenomenal (my favorite ever) and if I'm making Mexican food at home, I will stop by and buy a container of their salsa because it is just hands down the best. I 10/10 recommend.

Had a wonderful lunch - an authentic dish from Oaxaca- Tetela - very nice family owned restaurant with a dedication to bring the foods and recipes of Oaxaca to life in Eureka - Antonio mentioned the mole, which Oaxaca is known for, has over 50 ingredients and takes 3 days to prepare - surfers from around the world travel to Oaxaca for the waves - drop in and see why they rave about the food after they have been there !

Stopped by here on a road trip and glad that we found this gem. They were friendly and service was great. They provided chips and house made salsa, as soon as we were seated. I ordered their chicken mole and loved it! Chicken was tender and juicy. The mole was very flavorful. My entree had a choice of soup or salad, from their salad bar.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, super friendly staff. The salad bar was fresh and lots of options, I could go there just for that but if corse I had to try a menu option since it was our first time there. Hubs got the chimichanga with a side of molé sauce, and I went out on a limb and selected the Huarache combo, polenta base topped with the carnitas, radish pico and avocado salsa with rice & beans. Also has horchata, very happy. So tasty!!! So filling!! I had to sample my partners molé and all the flavors were hitting. I’ve already decided I’m getting the chicken molé next time we visit. Great spot in Henderson Center, Eureka!Kid-friendliness: Although I’m an empty nester, I always scope out the kid menu in anticipation of someday having grandkids. Yes they have a kids menu! And plenty of flavors of Jaritos to choose from, those were my kids faves.

Exceeded our expectations.The owner, who served us and his wife who made our delicious food, are very detail oriented.Their kindness and awareness to our visit was quite impressive, unlike any other Mexican restaurant we've ate at in Eureka.What a gem.PS, we had the Huarache with Pork in Green Salsa, 2 fish tacos with the Avo topping and of course, some Micheladas.Yum.
A very decent experience. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but it was still good. Server forgot our guacamole and didn't check on us after bringing out the food for at least 10 minutes. If I had wanted something, I would have had to do without for most of my meal.Server was incredibly nice. Food was very good. Other then a couple minor gripes, it was exactly what I wanted out of a Mexican restaurant.Will eat here again.
