The food was not bad, however, worst service I've ever had in Humboldt. My group had a dinner reservation at 7pm, didn't get food our until about 10pm. Three tables around us walked out before getting any sushi because they had waited so long. We never received water, after our first round of drinks our server never came back for refills or anything like that.One person at our table ordered a hot entree, they received their hot entree 1.5 hours before anyone else at the table received food. We were missing a few items that were supposed to come with our meals but didn't have the heart (or the time) to ask for them.Honestly, my group would have been okay with a long wait if our server just checked in on us, brought us drinks, maybe gave a quick apology but instead he avoided us the entire night and was rude and short with us when we did interact with him.The amount of angry customers that night was wild, my group and several others bonded outside afterwards. So I guess we did get something out of it, new friends bonded by a traumatic experience.

Food was great but unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours after ordering to get it on a mildly busy Wednesday. I understand restaurants have “busy” days however the staff was not available to us I.e. menu questions, water refills, and inquiries of order status. Additionally they were very unapologetic and short when we mentioned the wait and inconvenience as we were there for a birthday celebration. We hope the next visit will be a better experience and I’m looking forward to trying their extensive menu if time permits!

Beautiful rooftop with amazingly delicious sushi!! We had the Dynamite roll, Salmon lover, and Sakura blossom and each one was so fresh and so tasty and a nice size, easy for eating in one bite. The service was prompt and friendly. The sun was shining and the beer was cold! We will definitely be back if we're in the area ?
Parking: Park out on the street for 2-4 hours depending on the time of day.

Loved the view. Service was good. Sushi was small and disappointing. I got a rainbow roll. It was 90% fake crab mixed with what tasted like mayo. Yuck and cheap. I'll go back for the atmosphere but skip the sushi.

We've been here three times since they've soft-opened less than a month ago. We've liked everything we've tried (sushi tacos, salmon sashimi, Salmon Lovers roll, salmon nigiri, sake flights), and will be back to try more!

You've got to try it! The view is amazing! The prices are a little more than other local sushi, but not by much and the view is worth it. I tried the Humboldt combo and loved it. The nigiri were large tender cuts, and I don't usually go for California rolls but these were excellent. If you like spicy tuna you'll want to try the Hot Mama, and my son loved the miso soup and rice.

Heard that is place just opened so I figured I would stop by and give it a try. I was highly impressed.The chef/cook was definitely a compliment to the area. This will now be my new favorite place to go get sushi.The price of food seem pretty accurate with the current shrink formation, but was definitely more than enjoyable. Can’t wait till sunny days and summertime to be able to sit on the actual rooftop for dining.I ended up ordering from the house special rolls list which was a Sakura blossom Roll and the Naruto Roll, while enjoying my food I had noticed the people that were sitting next to me and also ordered something that caught my eye so I ended up ordering the “top sellers” of the house Specialty roll’s…
Such a creative endeavor in Eureka! Our items were all excellent! You can sit outside overlooking our town with heated lamps above you! Joe Tan and Nami are so gracious, we are very happy with our experience there! Cannot wait for more lunches and dinners! I am a foodie and a Trip Advisor senior and I just want to say, GO! You will not be disappointed! A vibrant menu that everyone will enjoy! So many choices!
