Ordering a New York steak at a market price of $43.99 left me with high expectations that weren’t quite fulfilled. The steak lacked seasoning, except for simple salt and pepper, and was overshadowed by the strong Smokey flavoring. The vegetables included in the meal were also overcooked, making most of their flavors inedible. Despite the long wait times, the experience left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied. If you enjoy Smokey, low-seasoned steaks, this might be a good recommendation. However, if you prefer more flavor, it might be better to cook your own steak at home. Overall, I’d rate this experience 6/10.

Excellent Food! We were driving the coast of Oregon and California, and I must say, this place was our BEST MEAL along the way!! We ordered the full rack of ribs and it was very meaty and soooo delicious! More than enough for the two of us, we were stuffed and happy!!!

This little hidden gem has a lot to offer! The owner, is s smart, educated, and interested person! I wish i had gotten a chance to meet him. Let’s just say if you’re into science extraordinaries like Nikola Tesla, you can enjoy great food while being in Nikolas living room! This is definitely a great experience. The Bar needs a little more work. But overall it was great.

Service was the only good thing there. The oysters were 86'd as they only get them on Fridays and I went on Wednesday. Cup of chowder was not only tepid, it tasted like it had turned bad. The brisket in the sliders was finely diced, each little bitty piece was fifty percent fat. The side of mixed vegetables were drenched in a overly salty mystery sauce, teriyaki maybe? The Shamus Mule cocktail was bland with poor quality ginger ale and maybe they forgot the lime. The waitress comped the chowder after asking me about it. The pulled pork was bland. I don't know if it was an off day or if I chose all the wrong things from the menu, but I'll never go back there to find out. I don't remember ever having a worse meal.

Atmosphere was fun! Service was great. Ordered a NY Strip. If you like garlic, this is for you! I had to scrape off the minced garlic because it was overpowering. The steak lacked some flavor apart from the garlic. I enjoyed the veggie medley. The baked potato needed some work. It wasn’t that hot and wasn’t very soft on the inside. I definitely over paid for that steak. I’ve had much better ones for half the price.

Service and atmosphere was outstanding. Bay view. Kids loved throwing the lasso out back!

This is usually our favorite family dinner spot.
We’ve now officially realized that the pasta is ALWAYS to be avoided.
It is served with a large amount of Olive Oil, and the sauce always has a very off putting taste.
We LOVE everything else on the menu, but unfortunately the pasta makes us sick every time.
We’ve gone back multiple times and re-tried the pasta dishes and they’re the same every time.

We miss Carlotta Shamus!!
