Very authentic Thai food in town! Padd Thai was amazing, the right noodle that I had been looking for (good chewy and not too thick). Asked the lady server for Thai spicy level 5 🌶️ Forgot to took main course pictures because I was hungry. Jackfruit sticky rice here was phenomenal! Love it, definitely recommend!!

My fiancée and I mostly cooked our own meals while on a trip to the Redwoods area, but Siam Orchid Thai Cuisine was the one place we ate out and we certainly did not regret it! Stepping into the restaurant, one can already tell from the decor that the place will serve authentic Thai food. We much enjoyed our dishes -- tom kha, papaya salad, and pla lad plik (fried fish). The pla lad plik was not spicy as advertised, but it was tasty. I also had a butterfly pea flower tea which was delicious and reminded me of my not-too-distant time in Thailand. It's hard to find food that measures up to the kind you will get in Thailand, but this place is close.
Other various notes: You order from the table using a QR code, which some might not like, but it works and our food came out surprisingly fast while still being fresh. We didn't get checked in on very often by the server but it wasn't an issue during this particular visit. .

I ordered curry with Tofu , coconut milk Thai Iced Tea. Iced tea was a little on the watery side, food came out hot which was great, but I immediately tasted fish in the curry, when I asked they said only the yellow curry can be vegan...so I asked for the yellow and they happily accommodated me and told me they would have to charge me for both...so I paid for 2 curries, one of which I threw away. Only order the yellow curry, and specify vegan...Maybe a few times.
Double check your receipt. My bank statement shows $20.73 added to my bill plus the price for the fishy curry and my "vegan" curry. Will check with Bank tomorrow.

I ordered the Special Tofu with brown rice and it was great. On the menu there was a "(VG)" next to it and on the opposite page there was a logo that said "Vegan Options Available Upon Request." So, I was like, "I'll have the Special Tofu and make it vegan." It could have used more veggies, but other than that it was hearty and good. One of the first menu listings said "vegan," but the server said they didn't have that one that day.
Got takeout. Veggie pad thai and yellow chicken curry. Everything was really flavorful and good. Best ive had in humboldt county

Some of the best (and most unique) Thai food I’ve had in my travels! I got the Pineapple Fried Rice with just shrimp, no egg, over brown rice, and my oh my it was good. The shrimp were as tender as any I’ve had, the cashews super crunchy, the brown rice pleasantly chewy, and all of it covered with fresh vegetables. Plus, the Jasmine Tea I ordered was head and shoulders above others I’ve had. The flowers tasted so fresh it needed no sweetener.

Authentic Thai food in Eureka! The Pad Kee Mao (pictured) was just right. The pik nam pla spicy sauce made it even better. Tom kha gai soup tasted just like it was made in Bangkok. Highly recommended!
