It's a cute little restaurant pretending to be more than it is. The food was quiet bland for the prices, I definitely expected more from this place but it was nice, nonetheless. The poor servers seemed a bit done with everyone though. 😅

So....finally tried The Greene Lily for brunch after hearing about it a few times and IT DIDNT DISAPPOINT. The place has this cool retro vibe but still feels relaxed, and the mimosa flight was a fun way to kick things off. I got the Crab Florentine and a side of tater tots and everything was fresh and tasty. Service was mostly friendly, though things slowed a bit when it got packed, and the vibe is busy enough that it feels like classic brunch chaos (in a good way). All in all, a solid spot in old town if in the mood for brunch or lunch.

My friends and I ate brunch here on New Year's Day 2026. We needed a hearty meal after a magical experience the night before, and we were not disappointed. The physical environment was light and warm without being overwhelming. Despite not having a reservation on a busy day, we were greeted with kindness and accommodation and our group of four was seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Our server and bartender, Charity, was absolutely top tier. She brought us drinks and water quickly after we were seated and treated us with care and genuine warmth. The food was soul-filling and came out quickly. I had the egg breakfast and it was the perfect amount of food. The potatoes were well seasoned and the biscuit was hot and delicious. There was one dish we weren't too keen on, not because it wasn't good but just because it didn't sit right with the rest of what we ordered at the time. Charity had the discretion not to charge us for that particular dish, which in my opinion was an example of going above and beyond to make us feel cared for. We were also not made to feel rushed to finish our meal. Overall the experience was an absolute delight, and we left feeling nourished and full. Highly recommend!

Its ok. Small, expensive, food is ok. I would go if the food was half the price. HALF. You can get way better anywhere else. Its in bumsville oldtown with a restaurant set up by someone unthoughtful 10 years ago and never changed. 20$ for a subpar French dip is insane

Not the most friendly staff when I went. I was served a very dark brown/black avocado, and they questioned why I didn’t want the avocado that came with my meal.

My 4 yr. old and I went for lunch, we got sat, and several mintues passee till our server came over to ask for drinks. Then we order out meal, our meal was dropped off, a d the only thing our server asked was if we wanted ketchup. I said yes, and before I could ask for another set of silverware, and the ranch I asked for she left. She couldn't to flirt with the men sitting in front of us. Not once did she come by and ask if we needed anything, how it tasted, it took her the whole 40 mins to come by to just drop off the check and ask if we needed a box. I have been a server for 20 plus year's and man was I disappointed, and I am the easiest person to wait on, you can ask one I go out with that I am usually pretty patient. But the lack of service in such a beautiful looking restaurant truly disappointed. I will not be coming back unfortunately I had to leave this review, because this has happened to us twice.

I really wanted my food to be better. I got the cesar salad with grilled chicken, and the chicken was not only overcooked but kind of fishy :(
salad itself was amazing, and the drinks were bomb!

Interesting how quiet it.seemed to stay in such a boxy hard surface space. Vintage fixtures for the most part, all well installed and stately IMHO. A large dark wood bar and fairly impressive bar back.
We came for breakfast after 9, and the place seems to pick up at 10 on a Saturday. Loads of 2 and 4 tops, easily modified for larger groups. Several.counter height tabke options, too.
The menu is longish, and the few things we had were quite well executed. One of the fewer breakfast or brunch spots in our travels that offer a non-pork meat option. The apple-chicken is sweet, can't offer an opinion on the turkey bacon. Paper doilies on the plates were confusing, maybe inherited in bulk, more likely to keep things from sliding off.
Pleasant and plentiful staff. A friendly and bust place that seems to be a hit with just about everybody.

Ordered a chicken caesar wrap expecting to get grilled chicken like any other caesar salad or wrap I've ever ordered in my lifetime, and instead what I got was a wrap with breaded, fried chicken. I would have never ordered this had I known, and because it's unusual, I didn't think to confirm whether or not it was breaded or fried, because I didn't think I needed to.

Delicious, as always. We each got a flight of mimosas and the crab cake Benedict. Everything was delicious, service was prompt and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing experience hosting my daughter’s baby shower at the Greene Lily. The private dining area was the perfect space for our gathering, and the owner and staff went above and beyond, providing excellent service, attention to detail, and smooth and easy communication throughout the planning process. I didn’t have to stress about anything as the owner ensured the room was decorated with fresh flowers and baby themed accessories. Food and drinks were delicious, and everyone had a great time. If you’re looking for a spot to host your next event, I’d highly recommend the Greene Lily! Thanks again!
