My wife has already left a review but I'm going to leave one too. The food was amazing the service was good I had the Italian sandwich and I had a bowl of the soup. On top of that the owner suggested that we take a drive down the Avenue a Giants which led my wife and I to also Drive The Lost Coast. I don't know if I'll ever see a more beautiful scenery than I saw that day and I want to thank the owners of Grotto for the terrific food and the Fantastic suggestion. My wife and I have a wonderful lifetime memory because of you.

Had one of the best sandwiches I have eaten in a very long time! Got the Joe's spice girl and it was a very well put together sandwich. So delicious! The owner was so sweet and really took care of us. Shs has nothing but positive energy and it shows in her costumer service and sandwich skills. We had a lemonade and it was very good(not overly sweet). Looking forward to more good eats and the Grotto!

The Grotto is the best sandwich spot in Humboldt! My personal favorite is Carrie’s Italian I have to stop and get it at least once a week but everything I’ve ever tried is bomb. Not only are the sandwiches and hoagies straight fire the vibe and staff are so warm and friendly with great service- something that’s hard to find in this town. This place is gem— highly recommend!

I got a French Dip w/au jus & and provolone, which was packed with meat and sliced into 3 pieces. God-tier on a cold day! My mom got the Dios Italian hoggie and she said the bread was fresh and fluffy damn near best she ever had and asked the employee questions about where its sourced and that the sandwich and vinegarette tasted perfect. 🙂↕️🥪💘
We're here for vacation in Eureka and heard about em from a local and would highly recommend them based on my experience. Employees were lovely and attentive to our needs. Accepting atmosphere too, which made me at ease 💯🚬🗿🫶
