Absolutely incredible experience! We were initially going to eat about a mile south of this place at a different diner, but the prices were five dollars higher in the atmosphere was visibly unappealing and we could not justify the incredibly high prices.
So we drove here instead to eat and immediately we felt so much better! First of all, the interior is much nicer, and the owner is easy to identify! I’m in business as well, so I know what a hard-working business owner looks like in the thick of his own business. In this man was running orders to tables, directing customers to tables, and taking payment at the point of sale. The waitress was so wonderful and accommodating of my wife who is gluten-free! They could’ve easily charged us three or four dollars for the sub substitute for my wife to have a waffle that she could eat, and they did not charge her at all for that accommodation! The food was incredible, and we had a great time!
I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody coming in to visit!!

This was so good, so simple, so basic. Basic is not a slight, not at all...it's a perfect stop on a road trip, a visit, whilst working. It isn't pretentious, or wanting...just a perfect place to eat decent food. Service was exceptional imo.

Had an amazing breakfast at the village pantry and honestly left pretty happy. The pancakes were huge and fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the coffee kept getting refills. The vibe inside felt friendly and familiar like a place locals bring their families to. Got a piece of the coconut cream pie to go and wow, that thing was amazing. Solid food, solid people, would eat here again and next time bring family and friends too

Popped in for breakfast and loved it. the pancakes are huge and the coconutcream pie is worth ordering to-go. Portions are generous, food feels home cooked, and the staff are warm and friendly. for honest diner food and big flavors it’s a solid pick. Would definitely stop by again.

I'm older Dude that Abides type. Released from hospital to convoless a week away from a small RV I call Home. Let's just say the hospital messed up on my meds and Ive found myself starving while still heavaly sedated ISH. When you think you can walk and learn the hard way. Sedation with no buzz whatsoever. Should be legislation! Says a canna cool grower and foodie from Laguna on the lamb.
Best damn breakfast burrito I had hand delivered by a smiling another dude that Abides. Plus the Pro that took my order, She Abides as well, I can tell about these things. We found the laugh, suffice 10 on atmosphere from afar as Gosh herself intended.
They use a sausage I consider gourmet as unfamiliar, but so good it became the focus behind mushroom well sauteed. From Eight crazy nights on low fat hosp. food diet.
This was such a pleasure. I hardly comment. Maybe I'm a pro incognito from Frisco? Try them on the casual but be ready for your steady.
The cheffs got skills. !!!! Like NYC skills... Thanks guys and Dolls! Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!!

I ordered food to go so I can't really comment on the atmosphere, but I don't like that they didn't givee an itemized receipt. Instead, I received a receipt with the total amount of the bill, which I have no doubt was incorrect, but how can I know? I have no idea how to split up the bill between myself and the people I was ordering the food for & that's very frustrating. It outweighs all other aspects of the service I received.

Went there Christmas night. We ran about town looking for coffee at nearly 9pm. Settled on the Village Pantry as nothing much else was open. Called a head to see if they were still open. The lady who answered was polite and said they were closing in a few minutes at 9. Everyone was friendly even though we were 2 past 9 late. We were served fresh, much needed hot coffee to go, with a smile. Thank you V.P.!

They do have good food or parking and prices some nice staff however they kicked someone out because claim they left a mess it least twice and they never did also claimed they didn't leave tips and did leave tips as much as possible these people are not allowed to ever come back because they made a mess they did not
I had a life-changing piece of coconut cream pie at the Pantry. My only regret was that it was so filling I couldn’t try any other pies. And there were many. Excellent home cooked meals. Blue ribbon pies. Worth coming to Eureka just to eat this delicious pie.
