CAFFE ITALIANO RISTORANTE

After living in Italy for a couple years, Cafe Italiano is the best Italian food in Sacramento. Most places in town are Americanized Italian food. This was authentic. The owner, Sergio, is from Italy as well so he's true to his roots through the ingredients. Favorite place in Sacramento.

We came for a quiet 50th birthday dinner and Cafe Italiano did not disappoint. My father is full Italian and said it was the best food since his mother's. I can tell you that the spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs is the best sauce I've had next to my grandmothers, and the meatballs will melt in your mouth. The house Sangiovese was amazing, as was the complementary lemon cello. Outstanding food and the price is on point. I think my favorite part was getting to meet and speak with the owner as we were leaving. I have a lot of respect for a restaurant owner that is present and values repeat customers. We will definitely be back.

Amazing meal, quality service with care. The antipasto was a meal within itself and
the Cioppino was not only delicious but a work of art in itself. Sammi and Johnny were exceptional. Thank you.

Ate dinner here with my parents, mother is Italian and grew up in Chicago's Little Italy and loved the food. Everything we got was delicious and they had a huge assortment of specials, wine and desserts. Pricing was really good to for a nice sit-down restaurant. We'll definitely be going back!

It's a great dinner spot for family and friends. They mostly serve Italian cuisine, I had the lasagna paired with a bottle of red wine for my date. Top notch service from the staff. I will definitely be coming back.

Serviced by Sammy who was extremely kind, attentive & knowledgeable. Incredibly authentic place with phenomenal quality dishes & desserts. Owners put in a ton of effort for authenticity & it shows. 10 outta 10! Make sure to get the chocolate cannolis & their famous limoncello.

This is a terrific Italian Restaurant. The owner and managers are freindly and welcoming. Our waitress, Sami was superb . . . ask for her. The Italian menu was excellent. My Salmon was delicious!

As always amazing food and service. Sammy is the best waitress, very friendly, knows a lot about the food and wines they serve. I feel it's the best Italian food around! I'm 100% Italian, my mama and Nonna were the best Italian cooks and this food reminds me of their cooking. We will definitely go back soon.

Excellent food and service. Love that it is quiet so we can enjoy a conversation while dining. We love this place!
