Don't waste your money. Food is not consistent. I've been here 3 times now and the food tastes different every time. One time I got a really great tasting consommé, then never again. It tastes and looks like salsa. WTF?!! Why? It was great one day then they decided to put salsa in it. I can't even. My burrito and mulitas was ok, but not great. Don't waste your money here.

I used to love Chando's. Not feeling that way so much any more. Had the bowl with carnitas and extra veggies. This is the second time I've been underwhelmed by the carnitas. This time it was more like pulverized pork. Maybe it was the bottom of the pot, but the texture was quite disappointing. Nothing special with the veggie addition either.

Have only been to the Sunrise location and won't go back. The first visit was only ok. The second visit the asada was dry and hard on the tacos and the nor cal burrito had fries in it that were not even close to cooked crisp and crunchy because they were almost raw!Won't be going back!

Three of us stopped in for lunch this afternoon, and it was honestly the worst. None of the meats we wanted were available, and even when we ordered the flautas with meat that was available, the counter person said they ran out? That means their flautas are probably frozen.. gross. The tacos were not good, asada meat overcooked, birriq meat was super soggy, nd guacamole was terribly bland. The habanero salsa was actually good.. nice and hot. Lastly, the pre-packaged Horchata drinks are disgusting. This was our first, and last time eating here. This was definitely a $68 dollar mistake.

My husband and I stopped in tonight on a whim. We were surprised that it was fairly empty and decided to have dinner. We had the Birria Tacos, Chips & Cheese, a Bean and Cheese Burrito and a Steak Mulitas. I have to start with the restaurant. It was so clean. The napkins, cutlery, and salsa fridge were well stocked. Starting with the Chips and Cheese. The chips were warm and fresh. The cheese was warm and just spicy enough for both my husband and I to enjoy. The portion of cheese sauce was perfect. It was 3 times the size you get at other taco joints. The Birria was so good. The consome was hot (temperature) and spiced perfectly. The tacos were not lacking in the amount of meat at all. They were very fresh. The Steak Mulitas was also stuffed with meat, and avocado. It tasted fresh and meat was well seasoned. The Bean Burrito was a generous size with lots of cheese. The beans were whole instead of smashed and had good seasoning as well. The only negative thing was that they were out or Horchata, but they had so many other options for drinks it really didn't matter. I cannot remember the last time I was surprised by a visit to a "fast food" restaurant before today. It was great food, a very clean location, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I recently used Chandos online ordering to cater my company anniversary party in Fair Oaks. It was very easy to complete the order and their food was incredible! The Chandos team provided all the extra sides along with the taco boats. We ordered the pre-made tacos....chicken, asada, carnitas and veggie tacos. All were fantastic. I highly recommend Chandos for any size event!
The food is really good but for that kinda food they charge a lot, there are hundreds of places around with the same quality and cost less, you already know they r going to charge you $30 for a simple meal when they got that iPad and flip it around to ask for a tip. Otherwise the burritos are pretty good, nothing to complain

It's OK in a pinch...but it's not the nostalgic Chondos that all the white Karen's are talking about.

Out of all locations, they should have shut down this one. Seriously. The chips here were stale the last 3 visits. Service is super slow and the staff is rude. Go to the Roseville location. It's like a different business.
