Whenever I travel to California I always eat at Mikuni. I've been eating here since it was just the Fair oaks location. All the apps are amazing, and the sauces they make for the rolls are really good.

While the food tasted good I’m fairly sure it messed my stomach up. The Mikuni in Roseville while smaller never messed my stomach up.

When you’re looking for quality sushi without spending a fortune, Mikuni is a great choice. Since moving to the area, we’ve visited three of their locations, and each one has delivered a consistently positive experience. It’s easily one of the best value-for-money sushi spots we’ve found around here.
Can anything go wrong with sushi, No I don’t tink so, this place is great!

Had this at Mekuni. Went for something off the menu and asked for a double lobster roll. It was amazing, super fresh, huge, and totally worth the $30. If you’re tired of the usual rolls, definitely ask them to make it your way. They’ll nail it. Highly recommend🙌🏻

Was there for lunch, seated immediately, attentive service. Sushi was nothing better than Hisui, other type places but still very good.

For all the hype we were a bit disappointed. Rolls were decent, however not for the price good.

Incredibly busy and under staffed. The food is good which is the only reason we go back. Otherwise for the money pier 50s all you can eat sushi takes my vote everytime!

everything has gone down hill except the prices. I couldn't believe it was the same mikuni's. later I found out it had been sold recently and that explains the marked decline in quality.

this used to be a great place to eat. Last night I wasn't even sure I was eating the same food I had ordered in the past, due to the bad quality. The prices are the same.Dinner for 4 was around $300 with tip. The tuna was dry, the rolls were slathered with some type of mayonnaise and were totally different than those we had eaten over the past 25 years (not nearly of the same quality). Trying to understand this change my wife said that they sold the restaurant this year. That explains it. I would not eat there again even having frequented it for the past 25 years. The service was good but the food was bad
Used to be so good, since they've sold the quality of food has diminished extremely. Having said that would love some recommendations for great quality sushi restaurants.
