The Fair Oaks Pitch and Fiddle has had service and food quality issues. I had a problem with an order to go and I tried to get it fixed. A really angry male got on the phone and told me how much he hated his job and then he wasn’t going to help and hung up. I had to get a hold of the owner, which was a lot of work, to his credit he corrected the situation. Unfortunately, for him and myself, it took way too much time, an entire two days and a lot of aggravation. Because the Fair Oaks store just won’t take care of its own business and act like professionals and manage themselves. That doesn’t include everyone , but they know the bad actors. Since the employees at the Fair Oaks store are covering for these bad actors, then they deserve the same rating!

Two stars because drinks were good and priced fairly. Ordered wings.. took 30 minutes to come out. Then ordered two sandwiches. Waited another hour to get sandwiches. When food arrived, pulled a very long black hair out of one of the sandwiches. Not kidding. Finished eating and took forever for our server to even notice. Asked for a box and the check.. took another 10 minutes and asking a different server to actually get the box and check! I don’t usually leave reviews but over 2 hours for 2 drinks and sandwiches is out of control! Go to their original location in Sacramento, not this one.

We had the fish and chips, and they were delicious with crispy fries. The server could be more attentive. I would go back.

I agree with others that say the service is lacking. They seem to hire based off looks rather than experience and qualifications. Our waitress Courtney took forever to get to us and seemed more interested in flirting with her male customers (especially the ones at the bar) than serving my girl friend and I. The food is good, but it’s not worth going out of your way for it or worth waiting as long as we did for.

The atmosphere was amazing! The service was lacking. I waited what seemed like an eternity to get my order. I was there for over 2 hours and was only checked in with three times and waited 45 minutes for my second beverage I requested. The cheese sticks I ordered were ordinary and a little cold. Other than that, like I said, the atmosphere was great and pleasant!

Went to watch a Kings game with some friends. Good food and great beer selection. My only complaint was that the bar tender wouldn’t put the sound on for the Kings game because he was an LA Rams fan and was watching a Rams game on another screen. Clearly LA sucks and this was an insult to decent Sacramentans.

3 stars for food as it’s a pub. And I had pub food. 5 stars for The servers who were attentive and friendly. 4 stars for an authentic sports pub, irish bar vibe. I go back and I recommend it especially on game day

Place sucks!!!!!! I live down the street and have been here 10 - 15 times. Service is garbage every time I’ve been here. Food SUCKS!! All it has going for it is cute waitresses and it is clean.

Great place to grab some delicious food and watch the game with a cold one.
The wings were bomb
Just go to the bar.. the server we had seemed more interested in talking to other groups than getting us drinks in any timely manner.

Football hangout! Great place for a game. Fish and chips gr8 but barely finger food. flakey and fall apart but taste is gr8. the bourbon barrel stout they have here is incredible. Fun clientele here
