Iv been here once before with my fiance , we came back today , I got the BLT &' it was delicious!! (I added avocado &' got a large amount , which is fine , I love avocado! ) All of the staff are super nice &' very welcoming! I love the fact they call out the order by name &' they also make sure they repeat your order when giving it to you that way there is no mix ups ! This little shop is amazing , we will definitely be back !

Excellent mom and pop sammich spot. I got the cold roast beef and my wife got the cold grilled chicken sammich and were very pleased with our choice. Size, prize, freshness of meat, bread, and toppings were excellent. Service was expeditious and gave good recommendations. Definitely will be coming back whenever we're near by. Place was poppin during the late lunch time 1-2p time slot. Tables were filled. Nice to see for the mom and pops.

I love this place. Get the pastrami sando every time. Comes with a good amount of meat, nicely toasted and melty cheese, and a pickle on the side. It's been consistently great since I started coming here 15 years ago.
Best pastrami in sactown. Amazing staff, David and his crew always make us feel at home when we stop by for one of their fresh sandwiches. Highly recommend.

I came to try the pastrami because I read that their Pastrami sandwiches are good. I grew up in SoCal in the 50s and 60s when every other corner had a burger and pastrami stand. Those sandwiches were overstuffed with juicy, tender and just enough fat pastrami to add to the flavor. They're still available in the area and I get one every time I go down to visit. I am always looking out for something to equal or come close to those sandwiches. For that reason, I couldn't give 5 stars. It may be worth more for the other sandwich choices. This place did not succeed, I'm sorry to report! For starters, I have NEVER had pastrami cut into little cubes before. IMO, doing so did not enhance the flavor. I did not opt for the lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese that is their usual prep. I only wanted mustard and peppers. When initially delivered, it had Mayo, not mustard and had be redone. I saw not one bit of fat on the chopped pastrami which may be better for one's health but is not what I want when I have pastrami. The pastrami was quite dry and appears to have been cooked on a griddle instead of dipped in a delicious jus, which is my preference. Obviously, lots of customers like their pastrami sandwiches which just shows how subjective judging food is. I am glad that this place exists for the people that like it. It seems to be a very popular place. However, since I was not happy with their pastrami sandwich, I won't be back to try other things they serve. The potato salad was good though not the kind I prefer. I wish there was a REAL Jewish-style deli in the Sacramento area. Has anyone else wanted this kind of place for our area? The staff were friendly and most customers seemed to know them and were often greeted by name.

AMAZING food, that cannot be understated enough! We are from LA originally and used to our traditional Italian deli and Rims did not disappoint- will definitely be coming back again and again. I recommend anything on the marble rye bread, but I’m partial to their bomb pastrami.
