The place is small and has too much stuff but the food is great. Nothing less of what I expect from a way more expensive restaurant. The SERVICE is INCREDIBLE!!! Warm and kind, servers waiting with enthusiasm. It worth a lot. Highly recommend if you are hungry and anywhere near citrus heights. Other wise it worth the trip! Enjoy ! Namaste!

I ordered the butter chicken lunch with the free naan bread. The food was warm, not hot. I arrived early for pickup. It needs more chicken. I had only 4 bites of chicken. The flavor is good overall.

Royal Indian cuisine is one of my favorite places for takeout. They have a great variety of selections and now that my wife and I have become vegan we have tried all of the vegan options. They are super tasty and the portions are a nice size. Our favorite dishes are the Saag Chana and the Aloo Matar. Their veggie samosas are some of the best I’ve ever had. They are a must order every time we go. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you haven’t tried them yet you won’t regret it!Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options

The restaurant was cozy and clean, the waitress is knowledgeable about the food options and very prompt in refilling drinks & made sure throughout the entire the meal that we were taken care of. The food was delicious! The butter chicken was creamy and delicious, the Chana masala was warm and spicy, garlic naaan was fresh and paired perfectly with everything Best Indian food in the area by far.

This is one of my absolute favorite places. Intense, amazing flavors, extremely good quality, and exactly what I think of and want when I think of Indian food. ? the people there are so kind to. This is a very traditional place in my opinion, when it comes to their food, and I honestly choose them over every other Indian place in the area.

I ordered through door dash, 2 mango ice creams, 2 pistachio ice creams and a malai ice cream. I received a mango popsicle, and ice cream of no flavor I’ve ever heard of and 4 pistachios. 1 of the pistachios didn’t have a closed lid and half had dehydrated in the freezer. Very disappointed. I called the restaurant and they said it wasn’t their fault, it comes from the kitchen.
