Stockman is the Cheers of Fair Oaks! I have never had anything but a great time. It's a warm and inviting old-fashioned neighborhood bar. The tenders are part of the ambiance. They're great people. Food is nearby, but they have some chips if you want to keep your seat at the bar. All ages are welcome. It's a step into easier times.

This bar is on the smaller side and really doesn't have much seating - if you like mellow bars and something not so crowded, this may be the place for you. This is more of bar you can hang out with friends at and actually talk, without loud music. The "party-side" is on the low level here (for anyone 21-28).

This is my favorite place in the village, it is exactly what you imagine when you picture a small bar that you hope feels like cheers. It's honestly better than cheers. From the amazing owner to every employee they welcome you in and create a place for you in the community. I first came here as a single lady and I always felt safe and surrounded by friends even when I stopped in alone. Now my husband and I have our date nights here and it's the best feeling to walk in and feel like you're hanging around with lifelong friends and family. We even had our wedding after party here! We love you guys! You make Fair Oaks so special

What's the deal with Stockman Club you were wondering? Well, I assume you were otherwise you wouldn't be researching it on Yelp. I'll give you some tips on what you can expet to find. It's old, dark, a little worn inside, and has a really small outdated men's restroom. Sorry, I didn't check out the woman's restroom, so I can't give you much help there. There's a couple pool tables, a dart board, some booth seating, and a cool retro jukebox. They serve a variety of beer, wine, and cocktails at reasonable prices. All the ingredients you need for a great dive bar. The bar itself is big, old, and decorated with memorbilia, like beer signs, golf clubs, and baseball caps. The mirror behind the bar makes the space seem larger, which is helps because it get a little cramped in there on busy nights. There alsways seems to be something going on when I stop at this bar. Nothing major concerts, but they decorate for the holidays, have games on the TV, and there usually seems to be a group of boisterous drinkers hanging around. All in good fun! The bartenders are friendly in my experience, and so is the crowd. It tends to fill up with older locals during the day, but attracts a lot of younger people on Friday and Saturday nights. It's one of the better dive bars around, and a fun place to kick back with a cold one.

We went to a celebration of life there. It's a great neighborhood bar. The kind where you become a regular and everyone knows your name. Well made cocktails and good selection. Downside for me? It's too dark in the main bar.

I love old Fair Oaks, and I definitely love the Stockman club where they have the coldest most delicious beer and the friendliest bartenders. Everybody is always chatty at the bar and friendly and the place is so clean and the prices are wonderful. Grab yourself a cap, Best Buy in town!
