What we ordered:
(Vegan) Patty melt - Came in sandwich bread instead of a bun. It would’ve tasted wayyy better with a burger patty.
(Vegan) Chili with cornbread - The cornbread was dry and no flavor. The chilli didn’t have a kick to it. Just bland chili. The cheese was cold on top, would’ve been a nice touch to have it melt a bit.
(Vegan) cookie - Thought it was a homemade cookie. Instead it’s a wrapped Sun Flour brand cookie.
(Vegetarian) Super Nut Burger - Pita wrapped, weird
Chips and Salsa - Salsa tasted like the jarred Tostitos salsa and the chips were mid.
All in all, the food is bland and weird meal options. Really wished I loved it since I’ve read great things.

Sunflower Drive-In has not changed in many years. I came here prior to becoming vegan and thought it was good, now I think it's out of this world. Just had a Nutty taco, plenty of food especially with a side order of refried beans. But unlike most food establishments they give you an option of either vegan cheese or avocado on everything. So this is a must visit Drive-In for a very good vegan meal.

Healthy fast food, mildly seasoned. Get extra pickles and sauce for any item! Food is fresh and healthy for sure. Lacking in seasoning, in my opinion. I fix this w extra pickles and extra sauce on the side. Example- large potato salad? Get a whole pickle to compliment it.
They also have smoothies and vegetable juice. I recommend something fruity as they aren't playing w their vegetable juice.
Tried the mini cookie and it was enjoyable.
I give every vegan restaurant 5 stars cuz honestly, Im grateful.

The staff are really kind and helpful. Environment is super cute, mostly outdoor seating which is nice!
The nut burger is delicious and huge! And actually really good cold too! Lol ? fresh and wonderful!

Lots of sandwiches and wraps. Pleasant outdoor seating. Good food. Friendly atmosphere. ?
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian burger drive-in. Walk up counter, outdoor seating. Food was delicious. I had the nutburger and the millet burger and they were both great. The millet burger was even good for lunch the next day. Potato salad was good, and the shake was almost gone by the time I got back to the hotel. Good place I will visit whenever I'm in the area.

The staff is rude. The food is not good enough to make up for the bad service. I asked for sauce on the side instead of on the nut burger. I was given a solid no even after I when I offered to pay more to do this. I practically begged because this was for an ill loved one who has strict diet concerns. I told the lady this but she didn’t care.

Great food, but always super slow service. Took 48 mins to get 1 nutty taco & a smoothie. As a bar and restaurant owner myself I feel like there is a more efficient way to get the food out faster… I was watching the cook was literally making one single taco out of an order at a time.. they should have a larger skillet with the nutty taco meat in it always cooking constantly since that is one of the most popular menu items… Like when I cook tacos at home for my own family I make a big batch and fill the tacos and we all eat at the same time. Opposed to just making a little bit and doing one or two tacos at a time and then the toppings and filling… I feel like there’s a way they can be faster and more efficient so you’re not waiting over 45 minutes for one taco.
Vegetarian options: Love it for that reasons. Wish they had another cook in there, the service is just too slow and not enough seating outside.

This place is to small bad parking and needs a cleaning. I don't understand why they can't create a better environment for the customers. The seating is very odd and not enough. Same it lacks everything other than being vegetarian that I want.
