The orange chicken was really good, the Szechuan Pork was off the charts, the beef noodles were flavorful and the Honey Walnut Shrimp had the right amount of crisp to it - great service, and overall 5 stars for Szechuan Garden. Highly recommend

We ordered through Uber One for delivery, and we were so impressed, I needed to come over to Google to sing their praises. The food arrived piping hot. The portions are family size for sure. As a non spicy eater, I was happy to learn their food is not spicy hot at all. My partner on the other hand did not appreciate it as he likes really hot stuff. So preference on that one. The veggies are PERFECT; fresh, prepared well, and cooked al dente. Potstickers had a perfect crust on the bottom. I cant speak to authenticity, but for a good go to spot, this place has my vote. 10/10 from me.

The food is good but excessively salty. I was guzzling water the rest of the day after my lunch. Definitely avoid it if you are watching your sodium intake.

My family loves the food. The lunch special is the best deal. The orange chicken is so crunchy and perfect heat. My kids love the water with lemon. It's always quick and fresh and HOT. Our new regular spot.

If you’re eating in the restaurant, this place is great. The orange chicken and their walnut shrimp is super crispy. But for it to be delivered, they don’t cut wedges out of their to go containers for the steam to get out and by the time the orange chicken got to my house it was soggy. I was very disappointed.

The food is pretty good. I usually order take out but decided to dine in. Not good sanitary practices. We sat down and asked for water and look at the menu. They bring me water and I asked for no ice. The waiter takes the cup back then fishes the ice out with his hands while wearing the same gloves he was just cleaning with. How lazy and gross. We left after and never ate there again.

Been a customer here for years, even ordered food throughout the pandemic, but the last couple of times, our food has been low quality and even missing pertinent items, such as Vegetable Chow Mein without containing ANY vegetables at all, Ginger Garlic rice, that had NO ginger or garlic whatsoever!!!!Not sure what has happened here to make the staff not care about the quality of food, or customers satisfaction, it is sad and unnecessary. We will no longer be doing business with Szechaun Garden, after years of being faithful and good customers ?

My new go-to Chinese place in the Sacramento area! Easily the best. Went in for lunch today and had an unexpected feast. We ordered the lunch special (available on a Saturday!) for the Szechuan chicken (asked for less spice), and tried the pot stickers and General Tso chicken. The portions of everything were bigger than expected. Definitely couldn't eat all of it if I tried, expect to bring leftovers home. The lunch special came with hot and sour soup, fried rice, and noodles, all of which were as good as it gets. They nailed the less spicy part of the Szechuan chicken. The General Tso wasn't too much sauced and tasted great over steam rice. The pot stickers were crispy on the bottom and filled with meat, the house made sauces for everything were balanced and flavored perfectly. The Dan Dan noodles were very tasty and the broth kept the tender brisket-like meat warm and flavorful. The restaurant and the restrooms were very clean. The dining room has a very nice ambiance and the food was served hot but came out quickly. We had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners, Alice. See saw how much we enjoyed the food and took it upon herself to check in on us. On top of the service being exceptional, she explained that all the sauces for our pot stickers, the chili oils and even the noodles were made in house. They even sell their homemade chili oil on sight.I wished I lived closer because I'd be there more often, but I go to Sacramento often enough to know I'll be back soon. Looking forward to when I do.Parking: Easy to park in general.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Handicap parking near by.

Sad to say, this place has really gone downhill. It was my go-to place for Chinese food. I ordered here thinking it would be good even after the last experience was only meh. But I have been coming here since I was a kid. I thought maybe they were having a bad day . I was wrong. Ordering over $50 in Chinese food, sadly, we only ate a little of it plus both of our tummies were not feeling good after or the next day, and it's the only thing we ate. We ordered moo shoo pork potstickers and wonton soup. I also ordered pork fried rice and asked them to add garlic to it. When they said to pay $2 more to add garlic, I didn't mind. However, what I did mind was when I got home, the rice looked old tasted old .The Wonton Soup ,the wontons were falling apart in the broth , which tasted watery, and the actual meat inside the wonton was quite chewy and just tasted a little different. The rice was way darker than usual & tasted burnt ,as if they had refried it instead of a cooking a fresh batch. This is just my opinion , but again I have eaten at this restaurant easily over a 60 times in my lifetime. My husband & I didn't eat any more of it & were not feeling great a little while later. I hate wasting money on food especially when it is a trusted place . But it seems as if this one has changed and sadly we won't be back.
