I grew in the valley near Modesto and have experienced some bomb Mexican food. I’m gonna tell you right now, this place is fire 🔥. If you can take some heat, try the pineapple salsa.

Meals are all made fresh from scratch, with wholesome delicious ingredients.
You order and pay, at the counter.. … salsa and chips are self-serve in the corner station on left of the large, clean dining room.
I need gluten-free and have eaten here safely often. They can make the burritos with large corn tortillas instead of wheat.
I love the burrito bowls, but enjoy being surprised with potato dishes. Etc. My husband is vegan and he loves the hearty meals here too.
It’s not fast…. The speed of service has the relaxed flavor of Mexico … you do need to go to the counter.
If you want skimpy, fast, cheap, industrial food, I recommend that you try elsewhere.
I’ve been eating in Fair Oaks for 70 years, and recommend Tijuana Tacos as a local gem.

Have went here several times. Everything I’ve tried has been very good. Especially carne asada tacos or anything with birrea quesadillas and Frautas. Brandon’s great friendly family owned business. They’re starting to serve breakfast and tried pancakes that also tasted fresh and had a nice fluffy batter. Definitely recommend.
in this establishment there is no service at all, respect for customers is also zero. For elementary questions or no normal correct answer or if you don't like something then leave this establishment so I don't recommend this place at all, inadequate employees work there

Got asada and el pastor tacos. The filling was Ok, but I paid for cheese on the asada ones, and they left it off. The tortillas weren't crispy or even warm, and they were sweet. Gross to me. The chips they had out were stale. The cashier was friendly though, and the order didn't take long.

Food was good but $5 for one taco with no sides? I expected rice or beans when I asked for a taco plate, 3 tacos for $15 is a too pricey. I would consider going back if there was a choice of sides for that price.
