My husband and I ate at Amelie for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The menu is small but everything we ordered was excellent and very authentic. I highly recommend Amelie!
Lovely place Great service And the mushroom soup...i almost ordered a second helping! Let's see what else - French onion soup, warm goat cheese salad, the wonderful bread. Great place!
Unexpected charming spot in Fairfax. Simple selection of delicious French café food. Warm friendly service. Speak French with the waiter if you wish!
Everything was absolutely amazing! We come here for special occasions. It was my husband's birthday. They even put a candle in his dessert. Great service, great food, reasonably priced. I could eat here every night!
We had lunch in the outdoor space. Delicious quiche and Croque Monsieur. Service is quick and attentive. Lovely as always.
Food & wine list was great. Warm bread, sardines and crispy artichokes- yum! Saturday night and it was slammed And the proprietor was the only one who was serving, so dinner was slow going.(Not a complaint just an observation :)) We all enjoyed our time there and will be back for sure!
Tonight, we had an excellent dinner. This corner of California is a hidden paradise. Julien and Tayce gave us a wonderful welcome, and it truly felt like being in France, at home. The flavors are 100% authentic. This restaurant is genuinely French, with the added bonus of exceptionally friendly service.

We loved our "quiche of the day yesterday," spinach and goat cheese, with onions. Excellent pastry. I would have liked more greens dressed with delicious vinaigrette, which would have made the plate look less skimpy.
We love the freshness & authenticity of the food here, which also tastes delicious. The vegi bowl was flavorful & the egg was just the right amount of runny; the Croque Monsieur was cheesy and wonderful and the fruit gazpacho was also delicious. Can't ever eat there without getting the warm bread & butter. The staff are welcoming & eating outside is very comfortable.
Tasty fare. Great croissants, quiche, but limited menu.
For take out they get the order wrong fairly often, so double check before you leave.
Nice people, good espresso, pleasant cafe vibe.

We have been to France. This food was absolutely delicious, better than what we have had in France! Tried the Pinot Noir from their 'excellent' menu. It fit the description. Service was superb. This place is a hidden gem in Fairfax. We will be back for sure.
Charming ambience, authentic and deliciously prepared menu, attentive and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
The service was excellent. The French toast was very good, but the bacon and onion quiche was tasteless.

The food and service are always terrific at Amelie. It's my favorite restaurant in Fairfax.
This restaurant makes my mouth water. The food is creative and fresh, so well prepared and presented. An amazing wine selection, although I'm not a connoisseur by any means. It's also small, relaxed and inviting. The hosts/servers set the tone for that. Amélie is charming, the food is always a joy, fantastic, the diners are always smiling and enjoying it all. As locals, we will be going regularly, thank you!
