This was a great date night spot! The ambiance was great, food and drinks were amazing, and service was quick and thoughtful. The bread was possibly the best bread I’ve ever had. So good! Will definitely revisit

Enjoyed the delicious family-style roasted chicken dinner - vegetables, mac+cheese, green salad, warm bread, french fries. Enough for family of 3-4. Had also ordered the ravioli which was an excellent surprise. Dessert was the warm & tasty tart tartin. Glasses of wine were perfect. Service was attentive and friendly. A most enjoyable outdoor midweek meal.

I dined for breakfast and it was so yummy and the owner, Romain, was so kind and welcoming, I came back for dinner a few days later. My daughter had the salmon and I had the Amelie burger - both were prepared perfectly and delicious. Our server suggested a French chardonney that was equally delicious. We also enjoyed the warm baguette and butter - YUM! We are new to the area and Amelie will become a staple for us. Highly, highly recommend!

Owner David and his staff are excellent! Menu is limited and during the summer, missing a few real French cuisine that I was hoping to get. What we ordered yesterday was very average. But I will definitely go back in the fall/winter for the more traditional French cuisine (French onion soup, duck, foie gras, etc) when offered as I see the potential. For now, you can't go wrong with their heirloom tomato salad and the baguette!

Cute little place on the main street of Fairfax. Excellent food and desserts, top quality ingredients, very French. Saturday lunch took over 1/2 hour from seating until serving in a noisy sidewalk hut out front, but the attentive waiter noticed and brought baguettes. Lots of wine and beer selections. Non-alcoholic drinks were available by asking but not on the menu. Lunch for 4 averaged $35 per person. We will definitely go again.

Greater service and low key atmosphere. My wife's ravioli was unique and wonderful. My steak au poivre was a bit overdone for medium rare but still tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Amelie is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Marin county. These gentlemen know how to run a restaurant and they do it spectacularly. ???? Amazing food, which is cooked to perfection. You can tell everything is made from scratch with high quality ingredients & lots of love! ❤️ They have a unique and interesting menu, a delicious and diverse selection of wine/beverages, kind and engaging servers with a warm and welcoming ambience. Going to Amelie is a culinary treat and a dining experience that always makes me smile!

Second time there. Very friendly and specially attentive waitress. We missed the fact that they removed the tartare from their menu, would be so good in hot summer. The Loire chardonnay was recommended by the serveuse and it was perfect. We think the chef forgot the garlic in our mussels. We'll go back.

Loved the watermelon red pepper gazpacho and the burrata yellow watermelon tomato hazelnut mint salad with a glass of viognier! C.etait parfait! Service by Romain was exceptional as always.

The food here is amazing and off the hook, and while the staff is very friendly, I felt like they were really in a rush to get us out of the table even though we sat outside and there seem to be no one waiting for our seats. I guess we didn't order enough to stay as long as we did but you can't go wrong at this place. Everything is always delicious. Some of the best French food I've ever had in the United States.

Finding some of its charm from its eclectic, and a little rough around the edges energy, the core of this part cafe, part vintage French diner, and part beatnick wine bar can be a lovely experience if you don't need the most comfy seating and enjoy the basics of french cuisine. We were there for early lunch and had escargot, croque monsieur, and their signature salad with chicken confit. All were very enjoyable. Excellent Latte and their homemade baked goods looked delicious and look forward to trying them next time.
