We were on our way to Point Reyes and we found this restaurant on a really beautiful street. We walked in to be welcomed by its really cozy ambience. I got myself poached eggs and Lox, a chocolate chip pancake, and a vegetarian special sandwich for my girl friend. The food was so fulfilling. The person who served the food has been really friendly though I can’t recollect the gentleman’s name. Highly recommend stopping by.

I randomly found this restaurant when doing a search on yelp. It was a bit of a drive for us, but we were pleasantly surprised all around.
We had eggs Benedict and breakfast potatoes. They had this lovely salsa sitting on the table, so we opted to get some chips before we received our food. Their salsa were fresh and beautiful. I believe the chips were made in-house. Delicious.
When we received our breakfast, everything was hot and plentiful. The eggs were perfect. My wife had poached on her eggs Benedict and I had simple scramble on my potatoes. There are eggs and then are eggs. Hers were perfectly soft poached and mine were silky smooth.
Additionally, Our server was really kind.
We will definitely return. I promise photos next time.

Such an amazing place for a nice meal. Super cozy and such friendly staff. Ty was such a hilarious and generous server, he made our experience wonderful! The food was delicious and their menu is well crafted. I would absolutely reccomend this place we will definitely be back!
This reataurant has really great service, with reasonable prices and delicious food. The portions are generous and they bring you sweet/savory cornbread at the beginning of the meal. Plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians as well.They have an ample wine selection and a full bar. The bartender made me a tasty gin drink, that was perfect with my meal. I had the eggplant parm and my dinner date had the pappardelle. We were both delighted with the taste!

Just had brunch at Barefoot Café and wow—so good! Pancakes that actually melt in your mouth and ravioli that tastes like it came straight from an Italian grandma’s kitchen. Chill vibes, friendly staff, and everything feels fresh. Definitely my new go-to spot in Fairfax!
